“Last year Jamie enrolled in (legal plan) because of an identity theft issue -- she went to rent an apartment and found out three eviction notices against were showing in her name (which weren't hers). When she enrolled, I emphasized the importance of doing her Will right away. Jamie has a 23-year old daughter, 25-year old son and three minor children that are 8, 10, and 12-years old. There is no father in the picture for the children. One year after enrolling, the 8-year old went in to wake her mother for school, only to find her mother had died in her sleep. Thanks to (legal plan) the oldest daughter learned her mother had indeed prepared a Will through (legal plan) and that she was named as guardian to her younger brother and sisters and was the beneficiary of her mother’s life insurance. Jamie's daughter and older son were able to keep their family together, stay in their own home and the younger children were able to attend their same schools all because Jamie took that time to prepare her Will. I don’t even want to think of what would have happened to those younger children had their mother not signed up for (legal plan). Thank you, (legal plan), for putting me in a position to help this family.”

“I wanted to let you know about the exceptional job my provider law firm did to help me get my estate in order. I had a Will, but it was significantly outdated. I paid $800.00 to a random Yellow Pages attorney for it years ago. I was thankful to learn that a Will was included as part of my LegalShield membership at no extra cost beyond witnessing. After I returned my packet to my law firm, an attorney reviewed it then called and spent nearly an hour on the phone with me, asking questions and educating me on all of my options. Next, I had a draft in my hands. I edited it, sent it back in and they refined it so it was just to my liking. The law firm never made me feel as though I was wasting their time with my small adjustments. My attorney also helped me fill out a Durable Power of Attorney and a Medical Directive. Bottom Line: I was very pleased with the level of service I received. It gives me peace of mind to know my children will be cared for as I intend. Thanks to (this plan), I will always have an up-to-date Will.”

"We hear about frivolous lawsuits and see them on TV, but we never think they will happen to us. While in college, my part-time business started booming and instead of spending all the money, I did what I thought was the responsible thing to do - I paid off thousands of dollars in credit card debt I'd accumulated as a student. Several years later I was shocked to receive an invitation to court from one of the credit card companies. They were coming after me for a debt that I had already paid off and I needed legal representation in court. The cost of hiring an attorney could have easily been greater than the cost of the frivolous debt and representing myself was out of the question since I felt like I had no evidence from so many years prior. I thank God for my friend who had already enrolled me for (legal plan). Not only was my issue resolved, but the cost of having my attorney represent me in court was 100% covered by (legal plan). I will recommend (legal plan) to everyone I know!"

“I lost my father to cancer in April. He’d spent 4 months under the care of a local hospital. In September, I started receiving bills totaling $2,850 for the balance of his care not paid by Medicare or his secondary insurance. I felt sure I shouldn't be liable so I called the hospital. In all, I called the hospital six different times and each time was told I WAS responsible. I requested they show me my signature on anything agreeing to cover unpaid balances, I requested copies of bills sent to his insurance carriers, and what was paid on his behalf. I never received anything. After 14 months of dealing with this, I received a knock on my door and was handed a certified letter from the hospital demanding payment. I'd had it. I called my provider law firm. The attorney who called me back listened to everything and took it from there. One WEEK later I got a call from the hospital’s accounting department; they apologized for the hassle, explained their error and said I should never have been billed ... and apologized for the additional stress this past year due to their oversight. Thank you. This is a service everyone should have because situations like these are not uncommon.”

"In the past 2 weeks, two of my members died. One was 81 and ill, the other was only 40 and healthy - it was tragically unexpected. The 81-year old was divorced and left one adult daughter; the 40-year old was also divorced and leaves behind a 5-year old daughter. I am so thankful I shared our legal plan with both these ladies. They each had owned our plan for over 4 years. Our provider law firm prepared wills for them both. The families of both these ladies have reached out to thank me for helping each of them get their complete will packages completed with their provider law firms. The family of the 40-year old is going through a lot as they make arrangements to care for her 5-year old little girl, but they also have peace of mind thanks to our Georgia provider law firm. There are so many details I could share, but the moral of this story is that I’m grateful both ladies were responsible enough to use our services and take care of their final wishes, and I know their families are too. I pray they are each resting in peace because they did their part. Thank you, (legal plan company), and thank you, (Georgia's Provider Law Firm), for assisting them."

“I have been dealing with a crazy estate situation with tenants in my grandmother’s property. I have called my provider law firm 32 times in the last 4 months — about 8.5 hours of consultation in all — and they reviewed 4 documents for me, too, and advised me before signing. None of it cost me a dime extra, which saved me thousands of dollars, and, honestly, a whole lot of heartache and stress because I know I will always have the right answer from my lawyers. I will never be without my membership!!”

"A young man in his twenties was riding a bicycle in Greenville, North Carolina and he was unfortunately struck and killed by a [billion dollar soft-drink company] truck. Although he passed away, the company responsible for his death paid out a couple million dollars for a settlement, and because the young man didn’t have a WILL, the court divided the millions between his mother and father. Sounds great, until you learn that his father had walked out on his mother while she was pregnant with the young man who was killed. As a result, the deadbeat dad got half the multi-million dollar settlement because… no Will."

“We initially enrolled for (legal plan) to get our Will done. We have a special needs son so it was important to lay out all details for his care in case something happened to my husband and me. That was three years ago. I never thought I’d use this plan as much as I have. Now, my son is legally an adult, and he has a special needs trust thanks to the lawyers. The lawyers also helped us decide on a continuing education program for him and protected his rights in a situation last year with his first employer. The lawyers represented my husband on a traffic ticket we didn’t think he deserved … and it was dismissed! They’ve reviewed about 15 various contracts for us and have provided priceless advice and guidance through some tough decisions. Having an impartial set of eyes and ears for guidance through all our life events is worth far more than the cost of this plan, but also having access to thousands of dollars worth of legal services and benefits at no extra cost? It’s an amazing value.”

“I love my (legal plan). I have called them 6 times just today in reference to business matters of my own and on behalf of my mother’s business (she recently passed). Did you know that you can't just call a bank to close a deceased person’s bank account in some states, even if there is a Will and Durable Power of Attorney in place? The same is true for even canceling a phone line. Amazing!! I’m grateful for the guidance and advice by these attorneys through every step in both states. Losing my mom was hard enough. Everyone get your business in order before it's too late.”

"I called my provider law firm today to discuss my responsibilities to pay off my recently deceased mother's bills. I hadn't even hung up from my initial call to the law firm before my phone was ringing - it was an estate attorney calling me back already! He answered all my questions and took his time to explain all of what I needed to know. THEN... not even 10 minutes later, another attorney called to address my concerns about a call I got this morning from a (very rude) bill collector regarding my mom's debt. This second attorney not only gave me peace of mind regarding the issue at hand, but also let me know about my rights to recording a conversation if they call back again! This plan truly offers such powerful value and it’s a bonus that it’s so affordable at less than a dollar a day."

"Called our provider law firm this morning for one last-minute question before going downtown tomorrow for what should be a 90-second no-trouble initial hearing in handling the probate of my cousin's estate. I haven't handled any probate-lawyer stuff for about 20 years, so having this plan as a resource is awesome. The lawyer I spoke with confirmed my gut feeling about my question, so the substance of the consultation was good...and then I asked him - because I never go downtown anymore - if he had any advice as to where to park? He did; he suggested one particular public lot on a specific corner. He also had a good sense of humor, fortunately..."

"I want to throw out a HUGE thanks to my provider attorneys and both law firms who have helped through this tough time dealing with my fathers passing. In a world where attorneys are vilified, it has been so comforting to know from day one my law firm in California and the firm and probate attorneys in Texas have had my back every step of the way. My firm in California even sent me to traffic court with a criminal defense attorney who brokered a deal with the trooper to save me $438 on top of helping me navigate my father's estate. I don't normally do 'shout outs' like this but during the most stressful time in my life, the past month has been made so much easier because of this plan. I have had it since 2004, and I'll never be without it. All the services, consultations and even the attorney for traffic court only cost me my monthly membership fee. Thank you!"

“I recently subscribed to (legal plan) because I had several annoying situations going on all at once, and I wanted to see if lawyers could help. The first time I called in to my Provider Firm, I told the gal about what I was dealing with and she gave me an intake number. I got a call from Lawyer #1 in 7 minutes. Lawyer #1 told me he'd handle two issues (within his area of expertise) and he’d pass the other two issues off to lawyer #2. Lawyer #2 called me about 2 hours later, and while I was on the line with him going over details, I received an email from Lawyer #1 with the draft of the demand letter he was about to send on my behalf. I was blown away by this quick response, and definitely blown away realizing that the conversations with TWO lawyers and their services they were providing for me would not cost me a penny over my monthly subscription fee. I wish I’d had (legal plan) for many situations over the last 5 years.”

"I was 9 months pregnant and 'not in the mood' when I got a ding on my credit report from a collection account for $138. I called the number to figure it out and the lady said I owed $138 from an unpaid cell phone bill from May four years prior. I'd had the same phone number and cell service for a decade and was calling her from that number, meaning my phone was never cut off for non-payment, but she didn’t care. I declined her offer to pay 1/2 of what I didn’t owe to make it go away and called my cell provider. They had no record of that particular month, since during the year of the bill in question my cell service was owned by a different company which no longer existed. So, I called my provider law firm. The attorney asked if I had proof of paying that bill, so I dug through receipts for that year and found the statement on which I’d written 'paid $138.xx’ with date and check number, which I sent that to him. A week later, I got a copy of the letter my attorney sent the collections agency and CC'd the legal department for BOTH cell phone companies as well as the FCC. Two days later, the negative mark was removed. Six days later my son was born. I didn't have time for that nonsense."

“I’d paid off a judgment years ago but it was still showing on my credit report and was keeping me from being able to buy my house. The company I’d paid off wouldn't remove the judgment. I called an attorney out of the phone book and he wanted $250 upfront, but I’d just gotten my (legal plan) to help review all my loan docs and protect my house when I bought it and so I called them out of curiosity about this judgment deal, too — they had it all taken care of in about 3 days for no extra cost."

"When I first became a member of (legal plan), we were in serious financial strain. I actually inquired about the services thinking we would be filing for bankruptcy. I had 4 creditors filing for wage garnishment against my husband and knew that this action would finish us off financially. I contacted our provider law firm and sent copies of the court documents. Although it was pre-existing the attorney was kind enough to send letters to these creditors firmly advising them to work with us since their actions would force us to file bankruptcy. I never had to pay anything extra for those letters. Not only did the creditors work with us but one of them completely wrote off the loan and said we owed them nothing, which was totally unexpected! The very first call not only saved us close to $4,000 but also kept us from going completely under financially! I am keeping my (legal plan) for life!"

"I discovered a negative report on my credit report only to find out that a company I had an account with was having technical issues and as a result they weren't drawing my monthly auto-draft payments. My credit score dropped 95 points over the course of a few months for this one error! I tried getting it handled on my own but it was still not getting fixed, so I decided to use my (legal plan). I called my law firm and explained what happened. They told me to go onto each credit bureau site and file a dispute and told me they would also write a letter to each of them on my behalf, too. They did just that! I received a copy of the powerful letters they wrote and sent off, and within a week I received a call from the executive office - not customer service ... the executive office of this company. Powerful stuff! Long story short, I just saw that my credit report was adjusted and I got my 95 points back! I love (my legal plan)!"

"As a good dad, when my 16-yr old daughter approached me with a request of 'Daddy, can I buy a snake?', I immediately, said 'Of course honey.' No, not really. I tried my best to politic my way out of it by saying, 'I think those exotic animals are illegal, honey.' I thought I'd won this battle. Matter of fact, I remember high-fiving my wife at the time. However, we have had this (legal plan) membership for years, and my daughter promptly said 'I'll just call the Law Firm.' She did. The lawyer asked her what type of snake and what area we lived in. They knew to ask those questions; we didn't. They then told her... 'Your dad is right. There is a by-law in your area that prohibits you from owning that type of snake.' Again, wife and I broke out the high-fives. It was then we heard the devastating words: 'HOWEVER... you can apply for an exempt.... Blah, Blah, Blah...'. I really didn't pay attention from that point. And now, to make a long story short, in my house resides a legal White Ball Python, an ecstatic 16-yr old and two paranoid (but very happy) parents. We aren't happy about the snake; we're happy because our 16-yr old knows how to access her rights, AND DOES because she has a (legal plan) membership. We certainly do worry less now....except when we can't find the snake."

“Yesterday a neighbor approached my granddaughter stating that because her dog had been barking at his emu through the fence, his emu had fallen, broken its’ neck and died. Needless to say, it was really upsetting to my granddaughter to be shown the deceased emu and have her dog accused of killing it! She called her parents at work, and they immediately contacted the neighbor. The neighbor was asking for the emu to be replaced at his cost, which could be from several hundred to several thousand dollars. My daughter called her (legal plan) Provider Law Firm today and according to the lawyer she spoke with, they’re not liable. She’d called to update me on the drama but also to thank me for introducing them to (legal plan) - she said the peace of mind is priceless, which is priceless to me for them. Two of her co-workers heard the call with her attorney and asked how they could get (legal plan) and she was happy to share.”

“An attorney from (legal plan) called asking for my 16-year old son. Odd. Turns out, without my knowledge, he'd called the provider law firm just before 5pm with questions, and they called him back at 7pm - 2 hours after the law firm closed. My son has a pending case which I'd called in about already. After my consultation, I let my son know everything would be handled... but, he was still worried and had questions! His attorney took time to explain everything in terms my son could understand, which we both appreciated. When I asked my son why he called in, he responded with, 'Dad, you said that whenever we have legal questions we can call our (legal plan) provider law firm for answers, so I did.' Wow. Kids often do things behind our backs that bring disappointment and embarrassment to the family... but, today my boy made me proud."

“I am a single mom of 3 boys. Wanting to raise my own children, I started a daycare more than 20 years ago. I have been blessed with caring for many children over the years, but I NEVER expected the following to happen to me.
On Friday, November 10, I received a call late in the afternoon from one of my daycare moms telling me that her 11-year old son had gone to the school counselor and told the counselor I had abused him, other children in our day care and my own 4-year old son. The counselor called the Dept. of Human Services to report me for abuse! The mother told me she didn't believe the accusations but that the school made it very clear that if she didn't pull her kids out of my day care immediately, they could go after her for not protecting her children. She didn't dare go against the school or her son! I was totally shocked and panicked! I had cared for these children in my daycare for 8 years and considered their mom one of my best friends.
The first thing I did was call my provider law firm. Unfortunately that Friday was Veterans Day and it was 4:55pm, so most of the attorneys in the office were gone. The gentleman who took my information told me an e-mail would be sent to the attorneys and I would receive a call first thing Monday morning. My heart was in my throat. I had no idea how I would get through an entire weekend with this dark cloud over my head.
Within an hour or so of the call to my firm - an hour past closing for the law firm - I received a call from one of the lead attorneys saying he just opened his email and when he read what happened, he just had to call and let me know what I should say/do over the weekend, and first thing Monday morning he would have another attorney call me because she had more experience in this field. He spent 30 minutes on the phone with me, bringing me from hysterical to reassured. He wouldn't even be the attorney handling my case, but he wanted to assure me they were there for me! Attorneys outside of (legal plan) don't do that for their clients.
First thing Monday morning, the other attorney called and went over everything. She reassured me I would be given the best service. I felt like my world was spinning out of control and she stepped in and took the wheel to regain control for me.
The state investigation lasted 3 months! Not only did they look at me as a daycare provider but as a mother as well. My two oldest boys are grown and in college, but my youngest is only 4-years old and I'm raising him 100% on my own. My biggest fear was that the State would knock on my door and take him away pending this investigation. I was constantly looking over my shoulder; I was unable to sleep well and my stress was through the roof. When I shared all this with my attorney, her reply was, 'I want you to sleep - let me stay up and worry about this, that's my job.' When I found myself worrying, I remembered her words and relaxed knowing I had the best on my side.
When I was questioned by the investigator in MY ATTORNEYS OFFICE, my attorney didn't put up with any nonsense from questions being asked. I wish everyone could have seen her put her foot down and make him stay within his legal boundaries. Without legal representation I would never have known what I should or shouldn't answer!
On February 9, I received a call from my attorney telling me I had been cleared of any and all charges. She was as happy and excited to tell me as I was to hear it. For 3 months I held my breath, and at that moment I felt the air start to fill my lungs again while tears filled my eyes. When I thanked her and told her that she had just given me my life back her reply was, 'You always had your life, I just held your hand until you knew it.' My gratitude for so many things was at an all time high! I asked how I could thank her for all she'd done and she said, 'You just did it.'
Saying thank you just isn't enough. I received a level of quality care that I doubt the rich and famous would get, and I got ALL of it for the cost of my monthly membership! My attorney isn't just an attorney working at a Provider Law Firm, she has a true passion for (legal plan company) and what the service represents.
Anyone working with children needs this membership! My life was turned upside down by an 11-year-old telling lies. I can't imagine the mental stress or potential outcome without (legal plan)! From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your vision for this company and I thank you for the quality you insist on for the Provider Law Firms out there...especially with my attorney!"

"We have a history of bad reactions to vaccines in my family, so my son was on a delayed immunization schedule - he'd be up-to-date once he was over 40 pounds. I knew the rules in CA, but not in our new home state of TX. Registering him for kindergarten went smoothly until the clerk saw his shot-records weren't complete and told me my son could not go to school there. I asked what I could do and her answer was, 'Other than get his shots? Nothing'. So, I called my provider law firm to learn my options. I could have wasted hours on Google, but why when I get unlimited calls to my law firm free? An attorney called back in 20 minutes and happened to be going through the same thing with his daughter in another county. He spent 30 minutes on the phone with me -- he explained my rights, the district's rights, emailed me the affidavit I needed and gave me the address for a nearby in-network lawyer who could review my completed affidavit and notarize it. Got all that done in 90 minutes then headed back to the school. When I handed the notarized affidavit to the person who told me my son could not attend without shots, she replied, 'Oh yes, we have a bunch of these on file - you're all set.' I just thanked her and left... but was reminded that if we don't KNOW what our rights are, we don't have any."

“I’ve lived in my neighborhood for years and my children are still at an age where they like to play outside in the cul-de-sac. Recently new neighbors moved in and decided that the cul-de-sac was not a place for children and proceeded to tell me that my children needed to go to the park and play instead. At the risk of getting off to a bad start with the new neighbors I also wasn’t about to be bullied. So, first things first… I called our Oregon Provider Law Firm to find out where we actually stand legally. I spoke with an ‘Ordinance’ specialist who told me that according to Wilsonville ordinances, my children were well within their right to play in the cul-de-sac. The next time this neighbor feels compelled to bring it up I’ll just have to let her know where my law firm and I confidently stand on the subject. Thank you (legal plan company).”

“I just wanted to take time to brag on our Oklahoma Provider Firm. My son (Pre-K) was scheduled to take a field trip to Oklahoma City. I was planning to take off work and go with him, but was advised by the principal that I could not accompany my child on the bus nor could I follow the bus with my child in my car so my son could be legally protected in his booster seat. When I pressed the issue, the principal told me it was just district policy. I called my law firm because I wanted to know what my rights were. My attorney called back within two hours to let me know she’d spoken with the superintendent of the school and was waiting on a call back from him. When my attorney called me again the following day, she advised me that the superintendent said it was NOT district or school policy, and that if I wanted to accompany my child on the bus or follow the bus with my child in my personal vehicle I could. I’m thankful and impressed by the care, concern and customer service provided by my attorney.”

"A young man still on his parent's (legal plan) was an architecture student in Cleveland who rented an old high-ceiling loft apartment in Cleveland for a year while going to school. Within the rules was that nothing could be hung or attached to the walls. So, the student built a free-standing loft system that turned his 1 floor into 2, providing living and study space below with sleeping space above. Upon graduation, the student was accepted into a graduate school in Boston, so he planned to end the lease and move. The landlord said he must leave the structure, and threatened to withhold his deposit if he didn't. The student contacted our PA Provider Law Firm for advice and consultation, since his parents live in PA and are the primary members of the plan he is listed as a dependent on. While attorneys in our PA firm didn't believe the landlord could get away with his actions, we don't practice law in Ohio, so we referred the student/renter to the Ohio Provider Law Firm. A lawyer from the OH firm reviewed the lease agreement and determined the student was within his rights to dismantle the loft system he built and take it to Boston, so he did. The OH Provider firm sent a letter to the landlord in Cleveland, who immediately changed his tune, giving the student back his full deposit. About a month later, when he found a loft to rent in Boston, the student contacted our PA firm for review of his lease before moving in, and this time we referred him to the MA Provider Firm for the contract review. This young man had the power of 3 top law firms on his side and it cost nothing, as all benefits provided were covered under his parents' subscription."

"An issue came up today where my child was questioned at school about an incident. Although they had the right to question her, it was very upsetting to her and me, because she was being questioned by law enforcement as a minor and I wasn’t there. She was questioned because the color of her car matched the description of who they were looking for. I’ll just say Thank God for (our legal plan)! We have a law firm available 24/7 in emergencies that involve being detained or questioned, which means my daughter has that access, too (even at 17 years of age). One tap on the app and she had an attorney on the phone in seconds. Thank you, (legal plan company), for protecting our rights and helping us to always know what they are. I honestly can say if you do not have the (legal plan) app on your phone, you are operating your life without a compass."

“I had an issue with my landlord here in TX, so I called (legal plan). My attorney wrote a letter to try to mediate the issue but my landlord refused to respond. My attorney then advised me to refuse to pay rent to the landlord and put the rent into an escrow account instead. After 2 months of not paying rent, the landlord filed to evict me from the property. Thanks to the trial defense hours provided and covered by my membership, my provider law firm hired a local attorney to represent me in my town. We went to court together, the attorney explained my rights as a tenant and what the landlord’s legal responsibilities are to the tenant and everything turned out in my favor: The judge ordered that I didn’t have to pay 3 months’ rent for the neglect of the landlord and that the landlord had to fix the issues immediately! I never paid anything over my simple monthly membership to (legal plan) and I got to keep 3 months of rent in my pocket totaling $3600 - that covers 10 years of my (legal plan) plan! THANK YOU (LEGAL PLAN)!!!”

"My mortgage company did not pay my taxes (without my knowledge) and my account
became delinquent. I’d previously called my mortgage company to find out the payoff amount on my loan, and because of that, they froze my escrow account. But they didn't tell me, so my account became delinquent after a couple of months. I called the mortgage company myself and they said they couldn't help because my house was already in the foreclosure stage. I flipped out, as you could imagine, because we have our taxes built into our mortgage every month. I called our provider law firm. The lawyer I worked with said what the mortgage company did was against the law and that they would help me rectify the situation. They wrote a letter on my behalf, and shortly after the mortgage company received it, they called us, apologized, and paid the $16,000 in back taxes."

“We bought our house a year ago and later found there was a latent defect, meaning the real estate company fraudulently hid damages. On our residential contract, it asked the seller if there were any wood-destroying insects or if the property had been treated for any wood destroying insects. That line said ‘N/A’. Clearly, they’d covered up the situation with new drywall and tried to jerry-rig the stairs with new wood against the termite-damaged wood. We had a contractor who specialized in termite restoration give us an estimate of $68,000.00 (including damages, materials, and labor). We turned this over to our law firm. The attorneys wrote a letter (as well as several emails) and made several phone calls on our behalf to this company. Long story short, the company has agreed to pay for and fix all the damages in our home as well as pay for housing for the time we will be out of our home. This membership just saved my family over $68,000.00”.

"When my wife and I returned to the U.S. from Ecuador (after a couple decades of doing missionary work), we settled in Indiana and purchased our first home. We did an 80/20 blend and the 20% was at a variable interest rate. It kept going up! So, we decided to check into locking it in. Two banks gave us two completely different options, both saying what they had was best. We had no idea. I faxed both documents into our (legal plan) law firm. After 1 and 1/2 hours on the phone, we knew what was in our best interest - not because our banker said so, but because of the advice from our attorney. What did this peace of mind cost us? Nothing extra. It was part of our monthly plan. Thanks (legal plan)!"

“I received a letter from my HOA stating I had weeds in my yard. I called them and said they had the wrong house. They told me they saw the weeds and if I didn't pay the $25 fine, they’d file a lien against my property! So, I called my Provider Law Firm - they asked me to send the letter from the HOA to them. The next day, my law firm sent a letter to my HOA (with all 60 names of their lawyers on the letterhead). It stated, ‘Mr. Smith is disputing this claim. If you cannot provide photographs of these weeds, or the names, addresses and phone numbers of the witnesses who saw these weeds, you are to cease and desist immediately and zero the balance of Mr. Sxxxxxxxxxxx's account!’ That $25 problem went away without any more of my time spent. Let's face it, I wouldn’t hire an attorney for a $25 problem, and my HOA knew that ... they also knew I wouldn't let $25 ruin my credit — without (our legal plan) I’d have just paid the $25 I didn’t owe and had anger issues about it with regard to our HOA moving forward. But, thanks to (our legal plan), justice prevailed with nothing out of pocket beyond my low monthly fee that I pay anyway for protection, security and peace of mind.”

“After three big storms damaged many roofs in our neighborhood, several of us called our homeowners insurance companies to place claims. A few of us, including me, had our claims rejected! So, I called (our legal plan) provider law firm. My attorney was patient, kind, and an excellent coach. He helped me fight [the insurance company] - he wrote them a demand letter and advised me on exactly what to say to them for the claim to be processed... and it was approved in the amount of $65,000. I just got a new roof.”

"A young man on his parent's (legal plan) was a pre-architecture college student in Cleveland, Ohio. He rented an old high-ceiling loft apartment in for a year while at school. The rules for the loft was to hang/attach nothing to the walls. So, the student built a free-standing loft system that turned his 1 floor into 2, providing living and study space below with sleeping space above. Upon graduation, the student was accepted at a graduate school in Boston, and he was at the end of his lease. The landlord said he must leave the free standing loft -threatened to keep his deposit if he didn't. The student contacted our PA Provider Law Firm for advice & consultation, since his parents live in PA and are primary members of the plan he is listed on. While attorneys at our PA firm didn't believe the landlord could get away with this, we don't practice OH contract law, so we contacted the Ohio Provider Law Firm. A lawyer from the OH firm reviewed the lease agreement and OH law and determined the student was within his rights to dismantle the loft system he built and take it to Boston, so he did, while the OH Provider Firm sent a letter to the landlord in Cleveland, OH -- upon receipt of that letter, the landlord returned the student's deposit. About a month later, after finding a loft to rent in Boston, the student again contacted our PA firm for review of his lease prior to accepting the terms; this time, we referred his contract to the MA Provider Firm for review. This one young man had the power of 3 top law firms on his side, and it cost him nothing extra, as all benefits were provided were covered under his parents' subscription."

“After only 12 months in my brand new home, the heat pump went out. The good news is, it was covered under warranty; the bad news is, the labor was not covered and could cost me $1,000.00. This didn't sound like a very good warranty to me so I called my law firm who did some research online. My lawyer contacted the heat pump manufacturer for me and negotiated with their attorney on my behalf. The repair turned out to be only $500 and the heat pump manufacturer paid for half of it quite promptly. I am a happy camper and the heat pump has worked fine ever since. Thank you (legal plan).”

"Update: Day 8 without heat. Got an estimate for almost $7,000 to replace our furnace. Ugh. Our home warranty company denied the first two estimates ($1800 total) to replace the control board and secondary heat exchanger. Ugh! Frustrated, I called my husband to relay the bad news about the denial of the repairs. He was out of state at the time, but calmly asked, 'What did the attorneys say?' I told him I hadn't called yet. He laughed and said 'Call them and forget about it. It will work out.' So, I called (our legal plan)'s provider law firm. They assigned us a consumer attorney to deal with the rest. That attorney had another 3rd party come out to inspect the issues... who found much more than the original repair orders! Major safety issues were addressed. Upshot: We're expecting delivery of our brand new furnace this Wednesday. We'll have to pay for permits... but that's it! Thank you, (legal plan)! I'm so happy to be able to ask 'is this fair?' without having to THINK 'can I afford to call my law firm?'!"

“We LOVE living on our yacht, Slice Of Life. It's the best lifestyle anyone could imagine but sometimes there are minor drawbacks ... and sometimes big ones, too. A few months ago, we discovered that seawater had somehow seeped into our engines ruining them to the tune of $120,000! Talk about HAVING A BAD DAY! I contacted our insurance company in hopes that this was a covered loss and, you know what? They weren't very forthcoming. So, we contacted our (legal plan) Provider Law Firm here in CA. After consulting with them, they did research into our policy and all the laws then wrote a SIX PAGE LETTER on our behalf and sent it off with another 14 pages of supporting documentation. By the way, we didn't even have to pay for the stamp that went on the envelope - everything was covered by our membership. Well, today we're smiling because yesterday we received a settlement check in the mail from our insurance company for $124,777.00! THANK YOU!”

“I have been a (legal plan) member for about 3 years now. During this time I have seen the services pay off time and time again. It’s one thing when it’s you, but another when someone or something is affecting your kids. Two recent ways we used (legal plan) are:
1.) My oldest son was moving out of his apartment and had paid for the carpet to be cleaned. He is a military veteran and has a very well trained service dog. Upon moving out he took photos of the place - it was in perfect condition. A month later he still had not gotten his deposit in the mail. He called the management company and they told him there was damage and they were not going to return his deposit. He called me freaking out and I told him to contact (legal plan). My son spoke to a attorney that day and he sent them all of the time and date stamped photos he had taken upon move out. The lawyer sent a demand letter for payment to the management office. Unbeknown to us - Texas law requires proof of damages if they want to keep a deposit. They were not able to show proof and my son received a $1000 check in the mail 2 weeks later.
2.) My 18-year old son was in Houston 'cruising around.' in my vehicle. I have a dash cam that records the front and cab constantly. A Houston police officer followed my son for literally an hour; while my son ate in the parking lot at Whataburger, the officer sat there and waited for him to finish eating and continued to follow him. I admit when I heard this story from my son I felt something was up, but nope - when I pulled the video, sure enough, he was literally trailed for over a hour (with zero provocation)! When my son came to a light to turn left with the cop still behind him he was pretty nervous (understandably). He got flustered and did not turn left on his green because he wasn’t sure if it was his left turn light and was looking for an arrow light. He waited for a full cycle and went on the next green and the officers pulled him over. They searched his car (with no probable cause) and found nothing. They ended up giving him a ticket for 'crossing the pedestrian median at the intersection.' This was more than a $200 ticket! My son called (legal plan) and told them he had video from the entire night. The law firm notified him they would provide legal representation in court and a lawyer contacted him. The attorney requested all video evidence. Next thing, he found out the prosecutor for the City of Houston dropped the ticket. Now, another law firm has picked this up and is suing the city for ‘intimidation tactics’. This one saved my son money, his driving record and his good name! I am a firm believer everyone should have (legal plan)!”

“I returned from out of town to find three new speed bumps in my neighborhood. We have small children in the area so I understood the need to slow down the drivers. One of the speed bumps was so large, though, that it was impossible to drive over it in my Ford Mustang without bottoming out. I contacted the president of my HOA and she was super defensive - it was her call to install these speed bumps. I was friendly, but argued that the one speed bump was just too high. She said, 'Too late. They're permanent, there's nothing we can do.' I didn't know who else to turn to, so I called (legal plan)'s provider law firm. The attorney did some research and concluded that the size of the speed bump was indeed unreasonable and wrote a letter on my behalf. I was overjoyed (and so was my Mustang) when, 5 days later, I drove up to a crew of workers wearing welding masks as they worked to skim the top off that speed bump to reduce it to a reasonable size. I enrolled for (my legal plan) in 1998 and have used it for hundreds of things since then, but never thought I'd use it for a speed bump. Ha! I'm a member for life.”

“The member called our provider law firm quite upset. Her house had burned down and her homeowner’s insurance company was denying the $250,000.00 claim. Most attorneys would jump at the chance to take that case on a contingency of about $80,000.00 but our firm opted to help her at no additional charge under the included provision of letters and phone calls. Our attorney first contacted the member’s insurance company's attorney to encourage them to pay the claim. The answer: still denied. He next wrote a letter to her insurance company, demanding immediate payment, or we would file suit for the $250K, court costs, attorney's fees, and, as provided under state law, three times the damages for bad-faith denial of their client's claim and their outrageous behavior. The insurance company promptly replied back that they had reconsidered, and would pay the claim. The frosting on the cake? The executives of the local branch of the insurance company took the member out to lunch to apologize for the way everything was handled. How much did this cost the member? Not one cent over her monthly membership fee.”

“I was in the process of selling my home in Michigan and I was already living in Texas. About one week before the sale was to be completed, the buyer quit her job. She was upset Quicken Loans found out she had no job and refused to give her a mortgage. The buyer demanded I give her back her $5,000.00 deposit and suggested we would find another way for her to buy my house. Meanwhile, she left me sitting with an empty house and she breached our contract, so I refused to pay her back the deposit. So, she sued me. I called my provider law firm in Texas, they connected me to the law firm in Michigan, and the MI law firm sent an attorney to court for me. We won the case! (My legal plan) saved me $5,000.00 on the deposit, but I can’t even imagine how much more it would’ve cost me without (legal plan). This is just one of the many ways I’ve used this plan. I’ll have (legal plan) for life.”

“On 4/27/2020 I filed a claim with SF Insurance for our above ground pool. I was under the impression my homeowner’s policy had replacement cost value on my personal property, which is how SF extends coverage to pools. It was not until after filing the claim I discovered that when SF issued the policy they issued it incorrectly. I called my agent and he researched it and discovered the quote I accepted had replacement cost built in, but the policy issued showed the incorrect box marked with actual cash value. The agent acknowledged the error, went to the claims department on our behalf and was told the replacement cost was not available - they said I should have read my policy and known there was an error. I was advised to file a claim with the bureau of insurance, which I promptly did. The bureau sided with SF advising no insurance laws had been violated and advised I seek legal advice. I enrolled for (legal plan), made the call and sent over all supporting documents and emails. I’d gone back and forth with SF for 8 months on my own, but once my lawyers got involved and wrote them one letter, within days I got a call from SF saying they are going to honor the replacement cost for the pool.”

"Over the past few weeks, my 95-year-old dad has been going through the process of doing a reverse mortgage on his home with a home equity company in Toronto. Our Provider Firm referred my dad to a local attorney to have the docs reviewed to understand the breakdown of policies and interest. I went with my dad on two appointments and everything appeared to be legitimate, according to our lawyer. The way it would work is when dad passes, mom would not have to pay anything until she sold the house no matter when. Today, the final paperwork was sent to the lawyer for my parents to sign, and I again went with them. When we arrived, our lawyer advised him to NOT sign anything -- the home equity company changed the policy and it did not match the original agreement! The new agreement said that when dad passes, mom must sell in 6 months (and go through the stress of finding a new place to live). Our lawyer called the company right then to tell them it was unacceptable and they would have to change the terms back to the original agreement. All this work by the attorney cost my parents $0. Without (legal plan), my parents would not have used an attorney, and would have been on the hook if they'd signed those documents."

"My father had some work done on his home awhile back, which apparently wasn't very good...because the next time it rained, his roof leaked. My dad called the contractor and was sloughed off - he was told his warranty had expired. Because my dad is in his eighties and doesn't venture up on his roof anymore, he was unable to detect the poor workmanship until the next rain, which happened to be a year after the work had been done. After getting no help from the contractor, my father called his Provider Law Firm and an attorney wrote a letter written on his behalf to the contractor. After receiving the letter, the contractor sent guys out to his home who got up on the roof and admitted the workmanship was poor and that the roof needed repairs. The contractors told my father that they would do whatever they needed to do to make him happy. Because this was for my dad, that makes two of us happy customers of this service! Thank you, and way to go (legal plan)!”

"Had major reconstruction to our house in 2018. The contractors doing the work left tons unfinished and went MIA for 10 straight days. During this time, I called my provider law firm. After reviewing my nearly $40,000 contract and doing some homework, they informed me that my contractors didn't have a North Carolina contractors license. I asked what that meant and they told me that in NC, a contractor’s license was not required unless the job was more than $30,000… which ours was. So, again, I asked what that meant? They informed me it meant our contract with the contractors was NULL and VOID. Once again I asked, ‘what's that mean’? They said it means we don't have to pay them any money and the contractors can't even come after me for it legally. WHAT!? I had a $40,000 check from the insurance company in my hands which ended up in MY pocket for me to use/spend/distribute as I saw fit. Wow. I’ve spent less than a dollar a day - around $6,000 total - for almost 20 years to have (legal plan) and they just put $40,000 in my pocket. That's a NO BRAINER in my book. Life's easier with (legal plan)."

"My dad came home from a car show to a wet floor in the kitchen. Something in the refrigerator had malfunctioned, and the refrigerator not only died, but it destroyed the floor in their kitchen. The insurance company gave him the runaround and long story short, he ended up without a refrigerator for over 40 days. During the 40 days, a lot of food went bad, and my 83-year-old dad had to purchase blocks of ice to keep food in an ice chest. After the insurance company paid him - they said all they were going to pay - my dad called his Provider Law Firm, they got involved and helped him receive almost $650.00 more to cover food spoilage, ice, and compensation for his time."

“We bought our house a year ago and found that there was a latent defect, meaning the company fraudulently hid damages. On our residential contract, it asked the seller if there were any wood destroying insects or had the property been treated for any wood destroying insects. That line said n/a. Clearly, they had covered up the situation with new drywall and tried to jerry-rig the stairs with new wood against the termite damaged wood. We had a contractor, who specializes in termite restoration, give us an estimate of $68,000.00 (including the damages, materials and labor). We turned this over to our Provider Law Firm. The law firm wrote a strong letter (and several emails) and made several phone calls on our behalf to this company. Long story short, the company has agreed to pay for and fix all the damages in our home as well as pay for housing for the time we will be out of our home. This (legal plan) membership saved my family over $68,000.00.”

“I called my law firm yesterday regarding real estate and tax questions. I got my first call back within 2 hours from the same lawyer we worked with to sell our last home and purchase our new home on 12/18/20! He clarified what we’d need as far as tax docs from our last bank loan AND our new bank loan. He then suggested I talk to a tax attorney in the firm to make sure my other questions were answered, as tax law outside real estate wasn’t his specialty. The tax attorney called me within a couple hours, answered all my questions regarding our 2020 tax return, then she referred me to another attorney that handles real estate law with regard to Capital Gains others had said to be aware of after the sale of our home. That attorney clearly explained to me what it is, how it all works, and that I didn’t need to have any concerns. He also explained how it would be beneficial for me to keep records of all costs for home improvements made for various reasons related to being a homeowner in general, not even related to law. I got ALL my questions answered by 3 experienced, knowledgeable, kind, efficient, and thorough attorneys QUICKLY and at NO additional COST. I never would have thought to take TIME to research all this information nor would we have had the ACCESS to these attorneys if it weren’t for (legal plan)! Now, on to getting our Wills updated ... next on the list now that we have a new property. I’m so grateful we found (legal plan)!”

"We'd leased a beautiful home in San Diego for two years, and made sure it was in excellent condition before moving out -- far better than when we moved in! During the walk-through with a leasing agent, she kept thanking us for how great the house looked. We handed her the keys, said goodbyes then started the drive toward our new home in Austin. Within a week, the leasing company wrote us they'd return our $3500 deposit LESS $1450 for the 'huge gouge in the rosewood floors of the dining room'. We said it must have happened after we gave the keys back and sent photos we'd taken during the walk-through. We went round and round with them, and when they accused us of editing the time stamps on the photos, we called our new Texas Provider Law Firm. Since it was a CA issue, they forwarded our issue to the California Provider Law Firm, and a CA attorney called us, had us send in everything we had to review, then they fired off a 2 1/2 page letter, using all sorts of legalese and citing the hundreds of complaints against them from other tenants who *also* didn't get their deposit back, either. Within one week, via certified mail, we received a cashier's check for $1450."

“I rented a townhouse is Charleston, SC while on active duty (Air Force). Eight months into my lease I got tagged a deployment to SW Asia. So, I had to break my lease and I decided to put my belongings in a portable storage unit. I had the moving company put the storage unit in my two assigned parking spots while everything was being packed up. Since I was headed overseas, I went home to NC to visit family while my house was being packed up, and while I was there I got a call from the moving company saying the property manager was threatening to tow my storage unit. I immediately called the front office and the manager said I didn’t have authorization to occupy those parking spots with a portable storage unit and threatened to tow. After going back and forth, I just decided to call my provider law firm. The lawyer I spoke with advised me of my rights and decided to place a phone call to the property manager on my behalf. The property manager backed off and from that day until I moved out, she avoided me - she even had the receptionist do my move-out inspection. I guess that one phone call from my law firm revealed her true authority. Thank you, (legal plan).”

“While living on the bottom floor in a 3-story Victorian house in Maine, my roommate and I complained several times regarding the ‘naughty’ neighbors on the 3rd floor. The landlord, who didn’t have a spine, pretty much did nothing. He didn’t believe us since the second-floor resident, a single lady, was too afraid to speak up. One day, I came home from a Christmas party at midnight. No one home. I thought we’d have a quiet weekend. Nope. I was awakened at 3am from the crazy party upstairs. That was the last straw. Called my provider law firm first thing next morning, the attorney wrote a cease-and-desist order, and the landlord kicked them out! Then he interviewed prospective new tenants very carefully. After that we finally had peace!”

"After living in my apartment in Raleigh, NC for about 3 years, I recently moved to Nashville. I cleaned the apartment myself, turned in my keys and headed to my new home. A week later, I received an invoice from my old apartment complex; along with a few legitimate charges, they charged me $249 for a 'stain' to the carpet, which I didn't think was valid or fair. I called my provider law firm for advice and an attorney told me exactly what to say. I contacted the apartment complex to ask for evidence of the alleged 'damage'. When I received it, I forwarded everything to my lawyer and explained the stains were normal wear and tear - there was no bleach or Kool-Aid or anything that permanently damaged the carpet. My (legal plan) attorney drafted and sent the apartment complex a letter on my behalf and demanded they reconsider that charge. A couple weeks later, I received a letter from the apartment complex, via my law firm, saying they decided to remove the $249 charge and would refund my deposit. Without (legal plan), I would have paid the $249 to avoid a stain on my rental record, even though the charge was unwarranted. "We just received a phone call from our law firm that has been assisting us with a legal issue over a security deposit since May. We called the provider law firm each time we received a response from our last property manager that was not in our favor and asked for advice on what we should do. Mr. Andrews (our lawyer) kindly wrote letters on our behalf, the last stated that we were willing to take them to court for double the amount of our $750 security deposit, in addition to court fees. When Mr. Andrews called today, he read us an email from that company's attorney stating that they were willing to resolve the issue - a check had been mailed to us, and they would consider the matter resolved if we agreed to not proceed with any other legal action against them. We are honored and grateful for (legal plan) and pray that more people understand the value of knowing their rights and using (legal plan) to do it!"

"My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and had been going through many treatments as we worked with an oncologist. At one point he said her body couldn't take more chemo, so we needed to get a particular chemo patch. She would need about a dozen of these patches, then he'd let us know if she needed more after that. Of course, we were going to do whatever it took. The doctor wrote the prescription and sent it in. I went to the pharmacy to pick it up and the pharmacist was devastated as she told me the patches were $13,000.00 apiece. I was not prepared to cover that amount on the spot, so I told the pharmacist I'd come back after I figured some things out. We'd already worked with our Provider Firm here in Texas through much of wife's treatment so, I thought I'd call them to see if there was anything that could be done. The lawyers listened as I shared the details and they had me send in our health insurance papers for review. I did then went on with stuff I had to do. I was able to move money around so I was prepared to pay the $13,000.00 or more to get her started on the patch she needed. The next day, I walked back in to the same pharmacy and the same pharmacist got a bewildered look on her face when she saw me, and as I approached she said something like 'I don't know who you are or what you did, but your insurance company called us and approved this prescription ... all you owe is $20.00 for the copay.'. Turns out, my law firm called my insurance company. With as many patches as she ended up using, (legal plan) saved our family about $200,000.00 on this one occasion."

"I was hospitalized for a week with a freak respiratory infection that nearly killed me. The doctors couldn't figure out what exactly I had so they put me through a series of tests as they tried to determine a diagnosis. I had what I thought was great health insurance, but my deductible was $10K, so I knew that would sting. However, a couple weeks after getting out of the hospital all the bills started showing up, and it was pretty depressing opening new bills every day, but two bills caught my eye -- they were from the hospital, totaling over $8K, and appeared to be for those tests. I didn't understand why my insurance wasn't covering these charges, so I called the hospital to inquire and learned my insurance denied the claims. I called my insurance and was told the tests weren't approved. I was still so sick at this point and talking on the phone was tough enough, so rather than arguing my next call was to my (legal plan) law firm. I uploaded the bills and a copy of my health insurance policy at the lawyer's request, and when he called me back after reviewing everything, he said he believed my insurance should cover those tests and he was going to bring that to the insurance company's attention. About a week later I got a copy of the letter mailed to my insurance company from my lawyer with all the strong language telling them they were trying to skirt their responsibility. Two weeks later I got those same bills in the mail, but this time they showed a balance of $0 due - my insurance company paid them."

"I have been dealing with a health issue since 2009. I had a very specific cancer that nobody in my family ever dealt with before. I asked my oncologist if she thought it was possible the cause may be related to a chemical I'd been exposed to over the years. She didn’t think there was any correlation. So, really, on a whim I called my (legal plan) provider law firm about it (because I could, for free). This was early 2019. Long story short, two and a half years later, on December 31, 2021, I received a settlement check from my law firm. If we didn’t have (legal plan), I never would have called a lawyer. “I reached out to the provider law firm here in Tulsa, Oklahoma, because as a veteran, at a certain age in life, you begin to receive all kinds of Medicare information and calls. So I made the call to help me make a mature decision, and ask things like why would I need Medicare if I was a veteran? That question required a government attorney which was not available through our provider firm, so they got me one in another state. That lawyer spent two hours on the phone with me and explained everything to me by phone so I understood it. When it was all said and done, and the final decision was up to me, the very next day, I received a FedEx package from that law firm with everything we had talked about, and I didn’t pay anything for it but the price of my membership. "One of my children has an eating disorder. After trying for years to help on our own, we decided to take a big step and send (them) to a facility to get professional help. This was a really big deal, as the facility is many states away and the program could have lasted many months ... It was an emotional decision for us as parents and (my child). Financially, this was a huge investment as well, upwards of $40,000. But, we felt it was necessary. The day came to travel and leave (my child) in the new temporary home, praying it would help. One week later, I got a call from the facility to come pick (my child) up, as they claimed they would not be able to help. Mind you, we had gone through SO MANY STEPS to admit my child, so I was shocked to get this call. I was furious, too, and very confused. My child was picked up but I was informed I'd still be financially responsible to pay for the entire program. I called my provider law firm here in CA. I can't even remember my first call with the lawyers because I was so upset, but I know my provider firm had to contact the firm in GA, which is the state this facility is located, and there was a lot of back-and-forth to insure they had all the info. I JUST heard back from the (provider law firm in that state) and the faculty DROPPED EVERYTHING. I owe nothing more. I am so ecstatically happy to not have to deal with this financial burden. Still have a goal to get the necessary help for (my child) but not having to worry about $40,000 is a huge relief."

"I was blessed to become self-employed as of January of this year. Well, last week, I received two medical bills in the mail from doctors offices from procedures our family had done through our old health insurance plan - the one I used to carry when I was employed - and these bills were now coming back because that insurance was denying coverage (dating back to 5 years ago)! These bills total over $1100! Of course, the letters came with threats of turning me over to collections if I did not pay up. I just spoke with my attorney, and he will be writing THREE letters on my behalf to resolve the issue: one to each doctor's office, and the other to the insurance company! Mind you, I'm paying nothing extra out-of-pocket; talking with my attorneys, having these letters written, and best of all...having the peace of mind knowing this will be taken care of properly is just all part of my low monthly membership. How many people would have just paid the bills or tried to fight this out on their own? Not me ... I know I have rights and I know how to exercise them now!"

"Shortly after my beloved grandmother passed away, my mom and my uncle received a bill for $2,197.14 for prescription drugs that were delivered, but, sadly, we lost my grandmother so quickly she never even opened the package. The pharmaceutical company refused to take the drugs back, and the credit card company refused to credit the account. After several months of my mom and her brother arguing with the credit card and pharmaceutical companies, I finally got wind of the situation and told my mom to call (legal plan) to see how they could help. She did call, and her Provider Law Firm in California wrote a letter on her behalf to the pharmaceutical company, and within two weeks the entire debt was removed. Thank you, (legal plan), for providing an awesome service, helping my family save a lot of money, and eliminating the stress in an already sad and stressful time in our lives."

“Two weeks after I signed up for (legal plan), I had a massive pain in my stomach and went to the hospital. I was told I'd need surgery, and was approved by my insurance to stay for 3-nights at the hospital for post-surgery care. However, during the surgery, the doctor found my situation was more complicated than they thought ... and I ended up staying 10 days in the hospital instead. A few weeks after I got home, I received a bill from the hospital for $60,000.00! I called the hospital to inquire about the bill and was told I was only approved to stay 3 days - not 10 - and I would need to pay the $60,000.00! I didn't argue with the hospital ... I guess I was kind of in shock! I just hung up and called my Provider Law Firm. Two days later, I received a call from the hospital notifying me they'd heard from 'my attorney'. This time, they spoke to me with respect, called me 'Mr.' and THANKED me for using their hospital to perform the surgery, blah blah blah and ... all I really paid attention to is when they said the $60,000 bill was cleared, just like that!! I couldn't believe my $1/day legal plan just saved me $60,000.00. I'll be a member for life."

“Two years ago, I had a medical emergency which led to me call 911 for paramedics. When the EMTs arrived, they suggested I be transported to the hospital. I told them I was a veteran, and they’d need to contact the VAMC first. The medic did, and as it was a Sunday, was told they didn't have an available surgeon, and suggested I be taken to the hospital, where I got to just in time and had emergency surgery. Weeks later, I got a bill close to $20,000.00! I filled out the forms to submit to the VAMC, and guess what? They denied payment, citing I was not under care of the VAMC within two years of my occurrence. Well, I knew better, so I called my Provider Law Firm. My attorney had me send in copies of all my emergency care / surgery bills, along with my VAMC records showing all my visits and care over the previous two years. My attorney reviewed everything then wrote a letter to the VAMC, highlighting the discrepancy in their claim denial. The matter went into appeal. In the meantime, I continued to make timely payments for all the medical bills. For two years, my attorney stayed on it, and, wouldn’t you know, I just received two refund checks ($1,050 and $50) and a letter from the Veterans Administration Claims Payment Center advising me they made a recent payment on my behalf ($125) and will be taking over payments from here. I'm so grateful. It was a joyful surprise receiving two refund checks within days of each other unexpectedly, and to know the VA is paying what they should have in the first place. Thanks to my Provider Law Firm and the (legal plan) program.”

“Went to the dentist for usual check up, exam, cleaning, x-rays. After we finished they told me to go see dentist down the hall who would explain work I needed to get done. After I hear too much detail I was sent to the desk to check out. Woman behind desk said that will be $180. I said , ‘excuse me, come again?’ Evidently the dentist down the hall was a specialist and that was a ‘consult’. I started to raise my voice but then thought, no need. I thanked her and told her I would have my attorney follow up on that $180 consult. When I got to my car I called my provider law firm here in NJ. They asked me to send them the bill and then wrote a letter to the dentist on my behalf. I got a copy of the letter 5 days later. When I got to work I faxed a copy of it to the dentist office to be sure they received it. Fax on first floor, my office on 3rd floor, by the time I got to my office my cell phone rang. Mr Gonzalez this is #### from ##### dental we are in receipt of your attorney's letter and want to apologize for the misunderstanding. Please disregard that bill and can we set up your next appointment to get that dental work done?”

"A car accident last year and a nearly fatal crash a few months after left my mom with multiple complications. One of them was severe pain in her hip, limiting her movements and completely eliminating her physical activity. After months of doctors appointments and physical therapy we decided to try deep laser treatment. I applied for Care Credit and booked her for 12 sessions. Then, Covid showed up and interrupted her treatment - all appointments stopped. I didn't think it was fair that I got stuck with the whole bill when she didn't get all her treatments. I repeatedly called and emailed the facility, and when I finally got in touch with one of the staff members there, they simply said, 'There are no refunds on unused appointments'. At that point, I called (legal plan) and spoke with an attorney at my Provider Law Firm. He had me send him all the paperwork I'd signed for my mom's treatment, which he reviewed, then he decided to write a letter on my behalf. That one letter resulted in a refund for $1,133.00. This has paid for my membership for the next almost 4 years, and it it was all covered under my monthly subscription."

“Had a few really important questions I needed answers on before enrolling for a health insurance plan. Called my Provider Law Firm here in TX at 2:18pm, and a super sweet lawyer named JP called me at 2:34pm. JP answered all my questions and provided additional information I would not have even thought of before I thanked him and we wished each other a Merry Christmas and a wonderful rest of the day. My peace level on a scale of 1-10 before calling my Provider Law Firm was at about a 3; after chatting with JP, my peace level was at a 9. I LOVE (legal plan) and I'd happily pay the monthly fee if ALL I got was unlimited telephone consultations because they’ve helped me so much over more than 20 years. As far as I'm concerned, all the other many benefits we get are a big extra bonus.”

"My wife has had ongoing health issues and was given the ultimatum to go back on disability or lose her job last October. She has several issues and several doctors... three of whom said she needed to go on permanent disability. After hoping her condition would improve and praying about it, my wife decided to file for Social Security Disability. While gathering the documentation and doing research, we learned that one big challenge with filing for SSD is that lawyers typically get a big chunk of the initial payment because most requests are not approved. My wife called our provider law firm and discussed her case with an attorney who is an expert in this area of law. The attorney advised her to file on her own the first time, and, if needed, their firm would join in on the appeal. He told us upfront that only about 1/3 are approved on the first request, and it was in our best interest financially to go ahead and file ourselves. Knowing our attorney wasn't looking at us as a dollar sign, knowing what to expect going in, and knowing our law firm had our back if needed provided great peace of mind. Well, my wife was approved the first time. We didn't have to share a large percentage of her payment with our lawyer, and we did not have to pay anything more than our regular, low monthly fee. Thank you, (legal plan)."

"My husband's filling broke and he was in pain. I took him to the nearest dentist and signed a payment arrangement. The dentist apparently discovered a few more cavities and filled them WITHOUT telling us. He gave my husband at least 15 novocaine injections. I don't know if that's a lot, but Don was quite loopy when he was left alone in the recovery room. I know because I sneaked back there to check on him. When I found him, blood was running out of the left side of his mouth. I was livid. I found a nurse and had her clean him up and as that was happening, he spat out part of yet another tooth. They tried to get him to stay and have a root canal to fix that, but by this time we'd lost all trust and left. I knew we were going to get stuck paying long-term for quite a few services we never asked for nor authorized. When we got home, I called our provider firm and faxed over our copy of the payment arrangement. Once our law firm took over, the visit to that dentist was suddenly free ... something I couldn't achieve on my own, despite the fit I would have thrown. I love the power of (our legal plan)."

"My husband and I are on Medicare. He wanted a replacement mask for his CPAP machine. The doctor wrote a prescription, and the supplier said it needed to come from a pulmonologist. So, his doctor referred him to one. The pulmonologist wrote a prescription, and the supplier refused saying they needed a sleep study. So, my husband called our provider law firm. The attorney wrote a letter to our supplemental insurance carrier, asking them why the medical supplier was making a medical judgment call. The insurance company assigned a specialist to handle the case. My husband received his new mask. I'll always have (legal plan), no matter what."

“My stepdad, who is hard of hearing and legally blind, was taken advantage of by a salesman who sold him hearing aids for $3,300.00. Unfortunately, his audiologist told him that the hearing aids he purchased were totally useless for the type of hearing loss he had and encouraged my stepdad to return them and demand his money back. The salesman refused the registered mail packet three times and would not return his money. Then my stepdad called his provider law firm, and his lawyer reviewed the contract he signed and promptly wrote a letter to the company. The result was an apology letter from the salesman and a refund of all the money he invested in the hearing aids.”

“On May 30, I was on my way home from work when my car started shaking. A ‘Drive Train Malfunction’ notice came on the dashboard, so I drove straight to the dealership to get it checked out. When I got there, my advisor looked at it and told me that whatever it was would be covered under the warranty. Great! I usually get a loaner if my car has to be in the shop a couple days, but they were out of loaners until June 24, so I left my car to be fixed, and went to a car rental place where I paid out-of-pocket for a car so I could get to and from work. I only rented the car for a few days thinking mine would be ready by then. Well, a few days later, the advisor called to say the part needed was the timing chain which was $4400 and the warranty department was refusing to cover it due to ‘negligence’ of my oil changes. I said I’d only taken it to their dealership for oil changes and she agreed that’s what showed in their system. After almost 3 weeks of back-and-forth with the dealership and warranty department, and paying for my rental car through it all, I called my provider law firm for advice. The lawyer had me send a copy of my warranty so he could see what should be covered. After reviewing it he advised me to contact the dealership and tell them they must cover it under the warranty. I called and let the advisor know my lawyer said it should be covered and if they didn’t cover it, there would be a problem. She contacted the warranty department, and 2 days later she texted me saying, ‘Hey, we are moving forward with the timing chain repair.’ They even threw in a free oil change. After finally picking up my car after a month in the shop, I called (legal plan) again to ask my lawyer if there was any way I could be reimbursed for my rental car since I felt it was unfair that my own car repairs were denied in the first place. He had me send a copy of my rental car receipts and drafted a letter on my behalf demanding the warranty company reimburse all fees I incurred due to their negligence. They did. Without my (legal plan) membership, I would have paid: 1. Lawyer’s consultation on my rights - $300; 2. Warranty Review-$300; 3. Lawyer’s consultation on rental car reimbursement, review of receipt and demand letter on my behalf -$300; 4. Timing Chain Repair originally denied -$4400; 5. Car rental - $469.88; 6. Oil change - $125 .... TOTAL SAVINGS= $5,894.88! Can I afford $29.95/mo. for (legal plan) to protect my rights? You’re damn right I can!!”

“My BMW 428i was parked on a back street in Hollywood, California when it was hit by a delivery truck. I was extremely upset (my wife calmed me down) ans called LAPD to get a police report while my wife called Amazon to open a claim. The representative told me they would take care of the repairs 100%, which I thought was great! The rep got us a rental car and everything was going perfect the first couple weeks. After three weeks, my car was almost finished being repaired at the BMW bodyshop and suddenly my multiple times calls and e-mails stopped being returned by the representative. My wife suggested we call (legal plan), so I called our provider law firm. The attorney I spoke with wrote one letter on our behalf to the claim department in New Jersey and … guess what? I received a check in the amount of $2,239.98 and another check was sent directly to the body shop to cover the repairs, which were $3,660.12 - a total of $5,900.10 for all my damages. Plus they paid for the rental car for 30 days which was $2,000! The (legal plan) membership empowered us with peace of mind!”

"I have (legal plan) for all the ‘what if’ moments, but also I use it all the time because ‘life happens’. Today, I opened 2 new files with my law firm because of two letters I received in the mail. One letter was a document telling me my mortgage servicing company changed. I don't know what I don't know, so I called my provider law firm and uploaded the letter so they can read it over with a fine-toothed comb and let me know if there’s anything I do actually need to know. The second letter was from Fiat Chrysler Auto that said they needed to change the airbag in my car due to recall. I dialed the recorded info line recommended and it said if my airbag deployed now it could result in ‘serious injury or death’! I called the dealer and they said the earliest they could replace my airbags was in two or three weeks and they couldn't guarantee they’d have parts by then anyway. So, I have to drive around (or my wife does) knowing the airbag could blow and ... I think that’s worth a conversation with my attorney, don't you? What I love about (legal plan) is I don’t have to spend precious time on Google or just guess what answers are to life events and questions — I can pick up the phone and check with someone who actually does know the answers."

“When I became a (legal plan) member, the first thing we used it for was when the battery died on my SUV. We couldn't program the radio because the dealership didn't give us the code. So, my husband took it to the dealership, and they wanted $150 to go under the hood to get it. WOW! Husband came home, called our California provider law firm, and told them what happened. The law firm decided to write a letter to the dealership, and a copy to the corporate office, and guess what? He got a call from the dealership! ‘Mr. Shea! When do you want to come in so we can help you out?’ He took my SUV in, they gave him the code, AND they offered a free oil change. No $150 charge. Having this service helps me, my family and friends have access to their rights.”

“Our car’s air conditioner wasn’t working. While getting an oil change, the place offered to give us a free A/C inspection and, after, offered to replace a switch for $435, which we did, but it didn’t fix the problem. We brought the car back in several times. Then they said we needed another part at the cost of $1200. We went to another car shop, this time specializing in Volvos. This second shop told us the switch the first shop replaced never breaks, and the part we actually needed they’d only charge $500.. not $1200. I made several calls to the first place, sent two letters, and no response. Decided to call (legal plan) and after I explained the situation they wrote one letter and in less than two weeks we received a full reimbursement. Oh, and our a/c works now, too."

“Four years ago in May we moved from South Carolina to Missouri and got our vehicles registered like normal. No problems. Two years ago in May, when it was time to renew again, we learned that the lien holder never sent the proper copy of the title to the state of MO!! We went round and round for way too long trying to get everything sorted out when we finally enlisted the help of (legal plan) at the end of last year. Fast forward to TODAY, after getting attorneys from both our Missouri provider law firm AND the South Carolina provider law firm involved, and after MULTIPLE letters were sent (our SC attorney went above and beyond) we were finally able to register our vehicle and get it legal. TODAY. Two years after the tags expired! Without (legal plan), we'd probably still be fighting this issue (and driving illegally). My only regret is waiting so long to enlist my attorney's help, but that’s on me. The empowerment and peace of mind we have as (legal plan) members is TRULY PRICELESS!”

"When my husband and I bought our travel trailer we paid extra for Camping World of Kingston, New York to register it in Florida for us. After waiting for over 30 days, we were concerned about driving with no registration. I called Camping World and they told me that it was on us to take that risk. I called several times to get updates and then they literally started avoiding my calls. So, I called my provider law firm to find out what my legal rights were when paying for a service I didn't get. Funny... after my law firm placed one call to Camping World, they called back the law firm right away. All of a sudden, my registration was Federal Expressed to our house and the bonus is that I just got a full refund for the registration fee, which is something Camping World told us on the first call they wouldn’t do! Thanks again, (legal plan)."

“I live in Illinois and own the I-Pass Transponder for local toll-roads. For whatever reason, my balance got below zero on my account and had not been debited by the state due to a delay in their system. In the interim, I passed through some toll areas which created an infraction. Almost a year lapsed and I received a notice and fine from the State of Illinois for Toll-Road Violations in the amount of $7,292.60!! I was ready to lose it, but I contacted my (legal plan) Provider Law Firm instead and asked the attorney who contacted me what my options were. He said I could go through the long appeal process and take my chances, or they could coach me through what to say to the State and resolve it now. I wanted to put this to rest so with the attorney’s coaching, I called the state and discussed the matter with the clerk; she put me on hold while calculating my new balance, then came back and said they’d accept $382.60 if I paid it now. My response was, “Do you accept MasterCard?” Thank you, (legal plan), for saving me $6,910.00 with one phone call.”

“My cousin, Emily, enrolled for (legal plan) through me. She was recently pulled over for a traffic violation, and the officer wanted to search her car. She told the officer she would call her attorney. It was 10 PM on a Saturday night. She opened her app, tapped the 24/7 button, and was connected to a lawyer from her provider law firm. The lawyer spoke to the officer. After a few minutes, the officer returned her phone, gave her a *verbal* warning, and she drove away with NO search, NO ticket. When Emily called the court the following Monday, she learned that the attorney saved her $500 (which is what the ticket would have cost, not including taking time off work to go to traffic court, not including an increase in auto insurance rates because of the points on her license, etc.).”

“I just used (legal plan) recently! I got pulled over and figured a pretty hefty traffic ticket was coming but then 3 more cops showed up after I was pulled over — 4 cops cars to 1 lil ol' me. I was very uncomfortable and thankfully able to tap my app for the emergency line and got an attorney on the line. When I let one of the officers know my attorney was on the line with me, the entire demeanor of the officer changed, and the whole interaction become much different. I didn’t have that very uncomfortable feeling anymore. I can’t say what the turnout would’ve been if I didn’t have (legal plan), but I can say I definitely felt SAFER with it. To me, that’s priceless, even as a 20-year old who doesn’t ‘need lawyers’ often.”

“I got a traffic ticket about a month ago. I took a photo of it with my (legal plan) app and uploaded it to my provider law firm here in Michigan. This was on Friday night. On Monday morning, a lawyer from my law firm called and asked about the details, which I shared. He said the attorney who would represent me would call me soon. He did, but I missed that - he left a message saying he filed an appearance at a pretrial hearing and would let me know when the date would be. A week later I got another call (which I missed) and he said the date was set and he’d be appearing for me...and I DID NOT NEED TO BE THERE. The day before the hearing he called to remind me he was going. The following day, he left me a message which said, ‘MR PRICOPIO, I went to court on your ticket. I was able to get the original ticket dismissed and have it put in as a parking ticket, so the fine is substantially less. I was also able to get you two weeks to pay, which you can do online. I hope this will work for you. Let me know if there are any questions.’ I LOVE my (legal plan)! I had absolutely no stress over this ticket. I barely even spoke to my attorney - he communicated with me through voicemail, went to court on my behalf which saved me time, saved me a bunch of money, kept points off my driving record so my auto insurance won’t get increased the next few years ... and it all cost me NOTHING extra!”

“I’m a single female and was recently involved in an accident. I drove my Subaru to the auto body shop yesterday and they deemed it unsafe to drive. I told the insurance company I needed a comparable rental (something all wheel drive). They said that was acceptable. I got to the car rental company and the gentleman helping me said. ‘Okay, just sign here for the Ford Focus.’ I looked at him surprised, told him I was supposed to get all wheel drive and his reaction was ‘Sorry. Your car is a 4-door sedan, so that’s the kind of rental you get.’ I argued, but he wouldn’t budge and neither would the supervisor. I asked, ‘Is that your final answer?’ They replied yes and I asked to be excused while I called my attorney. I dialed my provider law firm and before I could finish explaining to the intake woman what was going on, they said, ‘You know what? We may have something for you.’ Ten minutes later, I was driving away in a Ford F150 with only 3 miles on it! Once again, thanks (legal plan)!”

"I met and helped an out-of-state gentleman who's been taken advantage of by two different auto repair shops. He has a Corvette and had paid more than $7,000 for a new engine, thousands more for parts and labor to an auto shop, and still hasn't been able to drive his car since August. Frustrated, he went to a second auto shop which discovered the first place switched out some original parts for aftermarket parts, but charged him labor, and his car still runs too hot to take home. The second place offered to tow his car home since they're also charging him storage fees, but he refused to take it until it’s properly repaired! The new engine is under warranty. He found a lawyer online who’s already billed him over $3,000.00 before even speaking with the auto shops, and he's getting billed each time his lawyer calls HIM to check on the status of events. This poor guy was SO happy to learn that our flat-rate subscription with (legal plan) connects him to an entire full-service law firm who will NOT bill him by the hour, and who WILL review all documentation, who WILL write letters on his behalf AND WILL assist in dealing with the other lawyer and both repair shops all for $29.95/mo. Just because you drive a Corvette and CAN pay thousands to hire a lawyer doesn’t guarantee you’ll be treated fairly. I’m so happy I was able to get him the help he deserves!!"

"On November 4th I was in Austin when I got a call that my son had just been struck by a car while crossing the street in Dallas. EMS was on scene within minutes and I was thankfully able to speak with him by phone - he had a broken leg that would surely require emergency surgery, but thankfully his injuries were not life threatening. One detail he shared was disturbing to hear, and that was that he was struck while in the crosswalk, and the driver was talking on the phone as he got hit. I knew we’d face a minefield of legal issues, so I figured I needed to speak with an attorney right away.
It was 7:30 PM on a weeknight when I called (legal plans)’s 24-hour emergency line, and within a few minutes, I was speaking with an attorney. He gave me important legal direction that night about what info I needed to gather, then I followed up with another call to the firm a few days later, which is when they issued me an intake number so that any time I called in about this accident, the lawyers would all be on the same page. It's a good thing, too, because serious legal questions soon came up.
My son spent three days in the hospital, and got exemplary care. But, mere days after his discharge I received a letter from my insurance company denying the claim for my son's emergency surgery, alleging it wasn't 'medically necessary'. Next came a letter saying that if I received a settlement from the at-fault driver who struck my son, they (my medical insurance company) would sue ME! Can they do that, I wondered? Can they really jerk us around and bankrupt us with astronomical medical bills? Well, let's just say I'm receiving legal help every step of the way, and the lawyers have my back, which I’m so grateful for. I never face a legal issue alone, and I'll never have to check my bank account before I pick up the phone and call my law firm to check my rights."

"On August 6, 2017, I was on a long drive home and got pulled over for expired registration. It was my fault - I knew I procrastinated. The officer was nice and chatty, and when he ran my license and saw no citations (ever), he made me promise to get my registration done, and he let me go with a verbal warning. I had kids in the car, so he even smiled for a photo, which I posted to Facebook with a story of the incident that same day. Flash forward to August 6, 2020: I saw the story in my Facebook Memories and smiled ... but in the mail that day, I got a demand letter from some law firm for $305.10, along with a threat to have a warrant placed for my arrest! I called that law firm and was told to call the county court, which I did. I spoke with a nice clerk who said I already had a warrant out since JUNE ... for this unpaid citation.... that I never got! I explained my side, but she said her hands were tied -- I could appear in court (2+ hours from home) or pay the fine. I could easily pay the fine, but on PRINCIPLE I didn't want to! So, I called my provider law firm. My attorney advised me on exactly what to say and do, which included emailing a copy of my FACEBOOK MEMORY (Ha!) to the court as proof I'd gotten a verbal warning. I called the clerk and said verbatim what my attorney told me to say, and sent in my Facebook Memory via email. Two days later, I got a call from the clerk to let me know the warrant was dismissed! Whew! Three weeks later, I got a SECOND demand letter for $305.10, so I called the clerk and she let me know the prosecutor and judge had just signed paperwork to dismiss my case all together. Yay!"

“One of my senior neighbors had a car accident and her car was written off. The insurance company low-balled her on a settlement price. I helped get her enrolled with (legal plan) and helped her get all her car paperwork together for her new Provider Law Firm to review. The lawyer went way above and beyond his duty and even researched car dealer prices for her. With his help she received $3,175.00 MORE than the insurance company offered her initially. She is a very happy new member. Thank you, (legal plan)!!”

“I got a photo ticket in the mail for $446. My first thought was to just pay the thing and be done with it. Then I remembered my (legal plan) membership and figured I had nothing to lose. I called in and spoke to an attorney who said I needed to do a trial by declaration. I'd never done anything like this so I was nervous, so he walked me through everything, telling me I had to pay the fine before the due date, and send that in along with my declaration request, which I did, a week before it was due. Two weeks later, I got notice from the court saying I didn't pay my fine and they charged me $300 more. I called my attorney again and told him what had happened. He walked me through it and said he'd have my back, not to worry. It was time for court, anyway, so with copies of everything, I went to court... but they weren't ready for me, and they gave another court date. A few weeks later and I got more mail from the court with another date - this time they’d received my check. I must have called my law firm 10 times on this matter, and each time they called me back within 2-4 hours, and they were patient with me even though I'm sure I was driving them crazy. My court date came and went exactly like my attorney said it would. Today I got a letter from the courts in the mail stating that my case was dismissed and I was getting a full refund of $446 within 60 days. What a great surprise around the Holidays. It also turned me into a believer. This (legal plan) really works. Almost $500 is a great little Christmas present.”

“In February of last year, I was in an accident with a motorcyclist. My car was totaled.
Even though the motorcyclist hit me, I got the ticket, because the Harley rider and his bike ended up under my car (thankfully, he came away with only a broken pinky toe and busted nose). I didn’t agree I should be ticketed, and even the Harley guy - loud enough for the trooper on scene and me to hear - was calling his buddies, laughing and saying he wouldn’t be at work the next day because ‘he'd just T-boned a b$%@h’. I got the ticket anyway. I got home that night after 7pm and called my law firm (yes, after hours). The attorney I spoke with calmed me down, told me what my next steps were and had me send a copy of the ticket and other papers to him. The next day, the attorney assigned to take my case called me and said he was going to call for a jury trial to fight the ticket. Months passed, and I received the letter for my first court date. I called my attorney and he said I didn’t have to go to court - he said, ‘I'll go for you’.
In October, I received a letter for the second court date, for February. My attorney again said he was going on my behalf. I was grateful, because I had a lot going on in my personal life — my aunt, two beloved grandmothers and my foster mom all passed away; in other words, I didn’t really have the bandwidth to deal with courts, too. In the afternoon of the February court date, I got a call from my attorney - case dismissed! I was grateful. None of the legal representation cost me, as it was covered by my (legal plan). Of course, I didn’t have to pay the ticket or deal with increased insurance costs, either. This case could have cost me over $100K, but it didn't. I pay less than a dollar a day for my sanity ... though I still grip my steering wheel tight when I make left turns or hear motorcycles and I can still hear the metal. Today, I just got off the phone with an attorney from my Provider Law Firm concerning a new business venture and trademarks. Contracts are being reviewed. I paid nothing... I didn't leave my house.
I’m writing this up because 8 years ago I signed up for (legal plan) because I thought it sounded like a good idea. I use this plan often and it always saves me money and time. Turns out it was a great idea! I encourage you to get enrolled for (legal plan) too.”

“I didn't realize the huge power of our (legal plan) until the day we needed legal assistance regarding our teenage daughter's brand new automobile. SHE contacted our provider law firm because the dealership from whom she'd purchased her car failed repeatedly to repair the same exact problem in a two-month time frame. The lawyer she talked with assured her that she was dealing with a lemon law situation. He wrote and mailed one letter directly to [the car manufacturer's] corporate headquarters. A few weeks later, arrangements were made to exchange her original car with a brand new model, and everything was handled directly through the dealership -- it cost her absolutely nothing! I can't thank you enough for empowering her with access and the legal tools of support as she works toward her independence in adulthood. We are a family of true believers in (legal plan)!”

“We signed up for (legal plan) early in our marriage. I was skeptical at first because the cost was so low — what could this possibly do for so little a month? Well, (legal plan) has helped us in many situations! First, they prepared a complete Will for my husband and me (each) at no extra cost, which was great, since we’d been quoted over $1,000 by a local lawyer (each) for our Wills. They represented my husband in his car accident lawsuit, gave me legal advice when I was wrongfully fired from a job while on maternity leave with child #1, they wrote a letter to our harassing neighbor, and aided in several other smaller matters. Recently, while pregnant with child #2, I was in a wreck and needed a rental for a month. The rental company had my husband buy insurance for the first 4 days until the other party's insurance took over all charges. After 4 days, the other party's insurance contacted us to confirm they took over all costs ... so, we felt all was good. At the end of the month, my husband turned in the rental and was billed $400 for the rental insurance! The company claimed it was our responsibility to bring the car in after those 4 days for an inspection and cancel the insurance then, but that was not discussed nor in the contract. We argued, they refused to budge. So we called our Provider Law Firm. The attorney advised us to dispute the charge with our bank, and when that didn’t work, he sent a 2-page letter outlining their legal errors and demanded our $400. A week later, we received our refund. Thank you, (legal plan). I believe in this company and believe everyone should have this service!”

"I tried to trade in my car, but the dealership only wanted to give me $2,000 when I thought it should have been worth at least $9,000; then, the dealership told me my car had frame damage! I told them that was impossible, because I was never in an accident the entire time I owned the car, and I bought it with a clean CarFax. Or so I thought. Apparently, the original place I bought it from knew it was in an accident, but never disclosed it to me!! So, I called my (legal plan) Provider Firm and the attorney who called me back listened to my situation then decided to write a demand letter on my behalf to that original dealership stating the laws and my legal rights. Two weeks later, I got a check in the mail for the original purchase price of the car I bought 3 years ago -- $13,544!!! Thank you, (legal plan)!"

“I had a fender bender recently and when I found out my auto insurance company wasn't going to cover genuine Dodge replacement parts (for my awesome, pristine vintage car) and wanted to only cover refurbished /aftermarket parts ... I was not happy! I called my provider law firm and once they got involved, voila: the supervisor called me back and said they're now cutting a BIGGER check to cover the Genuine OEM parts that will be put on my car to repair the damage. “We were rear-ended while stopped at a light. Could have been worse. The 19-year old who hit us accepted fault. Our car was a little damaged, and while my husband wasn’t hurt, my back and shoulder were affected and I ended up needing to go to physical therapy to loosen things up. Her insurance was nice, or so I thought! The agent asked if I wanted to ‘close my case’ on medical and offered me $500 ‘for my trouble’. I thought it was a nice gesture, but when she sent papers for me to sign, I decided to call our Provider Law Firm first. I had a call back from an attorney pretty quick who listened, gave me excellent info and advice, and said the $500 offer was an insult - I should not sign anything. We’ve had (legal plan) more than 20 years; it’s the best ($1/day) we spend, and this was another example. It cost me nothing to spend an hour on the phone with an attorney who specializes in auto accidents after that first call in, and that first call kept me from making a big mistake! We ended up talking with our attorney several more times, and were guided through all communication with the other driver’s insurance company; that initial $500 offer ended up becoming a $5700 check AFTER they paid for repairing my vehicle and covering my physical therapy appointments. Everyone should have (legal plan).”

"I’m a busy TV crew member and typically work 10-14 hour days. Like everyone, I feel my time (and time off) is extremely valuable. A few months ago I took my vehicle in for service at a very reputable shop for an oil change. No big deal, right? After I picked up my car, I noticed the engine sounded a little strange and it suddenly had a noticeable oil leak. I went back to the shop for them to take a look at it, and it seems they added oil without draining the old oil first, so it was overfilled by 4 quarts and the pressure blew out the rear main seal causing the oil leak. The shop drained the oil, but then refused to take responsibility for the new leak. I left the shop ticked off and feeling like I'd been treated unfairly. So, I pulled out my phone, tapped my app and called my provider law firm. The attorney who called me back recommended I get a few estimates for repair to him, so I did. Then, he wrote a demand letter to the shop that messed up my car for the amount of the repair while I took my car elsewhere to be repaired. Yesterday I received a check from the original shop for $1,750 – the full amount of what I paid the other shop to fix my car. I don’t think I would have seen a dime without my attorney's help. Thanks, (legal plan)!"

“A married mother of two received a criminal speeding violation for going 25 miles over speed limit two weeks prior to signing up for (legal plan) with me. She was looking at a $500 mandatory fine and 4 mandatory points on her driving record, which would increase her auto insurance by about $400 per year for 3 years. She enrolled for a (legal plan) and called to speak with an attorney. The attorney advised her that she couldn't go to court with her since she received the ticket prior to becoming a member, but she coached the member on what to say to the judge. The member went to court and did exactly what her attorney said to do. The judge reduced her ticket to a 'civil' offense, she went to traffic school for $179, and got no points, no fine and nothing reported to her insurance company. She also got her will done! Before this member’s second (legal plan) payment even drafted, she received about $4,000 worth of value.”

“We were given a car by a family member — it was an older model with many miles, but it was FREE. We got use out of it until things started to go wrong ... and then we didn't have time, energy or desire to tinker with it to keep it running. So, I decided to sell it. I posted photos and a description on our local Facebook resale page and was immediately contacted by a BUNCH of interested folks. Since I'd never sold a car to a private party before, and because I knew this car had issues - which I fully disclosed - I wanted to make sure I did it right so I had zero liability once that car left my driveway. I called my provider law firm, an attorney called me back within 5 MINUTES and spent 15 minutes explaining the four things I needed to do. It wasn't a huge deal, but I also didn’t have to spend hours on Google and end up still second-guessing myself; it gave me peace of mind to know I had all the correct info and did everything right as I watched that car drive off today and I held $700 cash in my pocket. I call my provider law firm for everything because I can ... and I think having unlimited calls to a top-rated law firm as just one of many benefits for a low monthly subscription is a no-brainer.”

“I went to Walmart automotive yesterday requesting a battery check. After waiting for the inspection for 15 minutes, the technician said the battery needed replacing and would be done under the warranty. Five minutes later, he returned saying that the battery cap was missing from the battery, voiding the warranty, and I needed to pay the full $119.00. I called my Provider Law Firm on the spot, relating my experience to the receptionist all while on speaker mode, when all of a sudden, here comes a supervisor (that I never asked for) from out of nowhere instructing the cashier to, ‘charge this battery matter under warranty’. The Provider Law Firm receptionist, meanwhile, who was waiting to assign a file number and get me an attorney heard the whole thing, as did the customers at the cashier checkout.”

"Last week my wife and I were in a horrible auto accident. An uninsured driver ran a red light while we were turning left on a green arrow. Our car was totaled and we sustained injuries which we're still dealing with today. The first thing we did was call our provider law firm once we were home. The lawyer who called us back an hour later gave us advice on how to handle the insurance company, the dealership, and the rental car company; he told us the insurance company would low ball us on the value of our 3-year old car, and they did -- they offered $12K, but after I told them my lawyer told me to ask for comparisons to show value, the next minute they upped the payoff to $15K. Wow!! Next, we found a car at a dealership. The dealer tried charge us $2K for an 'appearance package'. HUH? Since our lawyer warned us about this, too, we balked and they relented. When given the purchase agreement, we told the finance officer we wanted our law firm to review the contracts first before we signed. Interestingly, she dashed out and 15 minutes later came back with new contracts which she faxed to our law firm at 4:42pm. A lawyer called us back within five minutes and told us he'd review them in the morning. The next day, a lawyer called us and went over the agreement, page by page. We decided to sign. Amazing peace of mind!! There were no charges for any of these services beyond our low monthly fee."

“I bought a 1980 LTD from someone I knew for $1000. I paid, signed the title and took the vehicle home. After getting it to my place I saw there was more wrong with it than expected, but I was still willing to work on it. When I went to get the vehicle registered, I found out the owners could not sell it because they owed almost $3,000 in personal property tax. I made several attempts to get my money back and/or get the car registered, and nothing was working out until I contacted my Provider Law Firm. Within the week my attorney wrote and sent the guy I bought the car from a letter demanding he either pay his taxes to release the lien so I could get the vehicle registered or give me back my $1000 and take the car. He got back with me within 2 days of receiving that letter to make things right. Thank you (legal plan).”

“While on vacation on a road trip in the middle of nowhere New Mexico, my husband was clocked from a half mile away, speeding past a truck and we were pulled over. He knew he was guilty and the officer was very friendly explaining how the fine would likely be about $300, and the easy way was to just send in the money. He thanked the officer, but since we had a long road ahead, my husband instead contacted (legal plan), and the lawyer who called us back from our provider firm in AZ connected us with a traffic attorney from the NM provider law firm, who arranged an over-the-phone court hearing. All this happened before we got home from our road trip. About 10 days later, from home in AZ, we listened in for about 15 minutes as our lawyer in NM negotiated with the officer and judge. Based on my husband’s good driving record and promise to watch his speed in the future, the fine was completely deferred and, if after 90 days, he receives no other tickets, the incident will be dismissed! Fine $0, attorney bill $0, court cost $85. Savings $215.00! Thanks, (legal plan)!”

"I was pummeled from behind while at a complete standstill waiting for a logging truck to turn left. Because my daughter had previously sustained a brain bleed from an accident a few years ago, and her head was hurting immediately after this car accident, we were both shaken up. I called 911 and had her checked out by EMT’s who showed up while I hit the emergency button on my (legal plan) app. Within 3 rings at 6pm - after hours - I was talking to an attorney from [Provider Law Firm in ME]. First, the attorney asked if my daughter was ok before anything else - the customer service was AMAZING! Then, my attorney calmly walked me through what was going to happen next, what to say and what to expect, along with how to handle tomorrow and my insurance company with confidence. Peace of mind in a traumatic, stressful situation is PRICELESS! To the 17yo (and her twin riding with her) who hit us, and who was visibly shaken, physically affected by her head hitting the steering wheel, and who still handled herself quite well - I meant what I said: Cars are things, humans matter so much more. We are what's important. Takeaway from this is that insurance is for THINGS in life, but in the blink of any eye, life can all be taken away - count your blessings! ... and pay a wee bit more attention while driving. Life is good."

“Over Thanksgiving my wife and I drove to Newport Beach, CA to visit family. We used toll roads there and back - they scan your plate and send a bill, which I got by mail a couple weeks after we got back to Idaho. I went online, saw I owed $9 + change, and I paid it. This week we got a toll bill for $6.45 from the same trip. When I went online in December, the $6.45 didn't show, so I didn’t know to pay it and it said I owed $206.45 for penalties. I called them today, and they said best they could do is reduce it to $46.45. I kindly explained why it was their error and I should not have to pay it; they said if I didn't pay, it would become a lien. Because I have (legal plan), I didn’t back down and told them I’d turn this over to my lawyers. They put me on hold, then came back and let me pay the original $6.45. That's why I have (legal plan).”

“I’m thrilled! A few months ago, my 17 year old son was driving with 3 of his friends in Central Point, Oregon and got a traffic ticket for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. Today, when he went to traffic court…not only was he the youngest person in the courtroom, but he was the only one with an attorney. After a little negotiation between our provider attorney and the officer, it was decided that the CASE would be DISMISSED. “I decided to be designated driver this night (also, the morning of my son’s birthday) and my intoxicated co-pilot decided he wanted food in the middle of the night. While I was in the drive-thru I barked the tires on my truck by accident. Seconds later, a police officer came out of nowhere and dropped a flashlight in my window and asked how much I’d been drinking. My response was 'Whooa....what are you talking about?' I said, 'hold on, my attorney wants to talk to you'. He said he didn't have time for that. I said, 'Well, we feel you’ve violated my rights and he wants to speak with you.' The officer wouldn't speak to my attorney and ended up writing me a ticket for exhibition of speed and sent me on my way. “I hoisted a big weight off my shoulders today by finally finishing my taxes. I'd been putting them off because I was unfamiliar and intimidated by what I needed to do about our big fat windfall this year. Thanks to a lot of help last year from my (legal plan) attorneys, we had a $210,000.00 loan forgiven. So, consequently we received a 1099-C from the bank. When I first typed my income information into Turbotax, it said I OWED over $50,000!! I almost screamed! But then I calmed down and called my provider law firm and the tax attorney who called me back told me what form I needed to file and how to file it to exclude all that extra income. Today, I'm happy to report that with good advice from my (legal plan) attorneys, I didn't have to pay ANY taxes on it and we get a huge refund after all! Saying 'Thank You' a thousand times doesn't even come close to covering it!”

“For nine years we had been trying to resolve a legal issue. We’d even paid several attorneys, prior to signing up for our (legal plan), but none helped. The IRS claimed they did not receive our tax return during a particular year, so they filed one for my husband as a single individual with no dependents, which resulted in the IRS placing a $17,000 lien on our property and threatening to garnish his wages. We DID file. Over time, the IRS determined we did not owe taxes, and in fact, were due a refund, which they mailed us a check for along with a notice of release to stop the garnishment. However, they failed to notify our county, and for nine years we suffered from a $17,000 property lien that we could just not get removed from our record. Thanks to (our legal plan), not only has it been removed, but we have a ‘once in a lifetime’ story of the day the IRS actually apologized! Thanks again for the wonderful service provided by our provider firm."

“Hate to admit it, but I listened to and took bad advice from a large national tax preparation service a few years ago. We ended up owing money, and the tax preparer told me that we didn't have to pay any of the balance when filing. I listened to him, I believed him and he was wrong -- we ended up with almost $900 in penalties. Then, I decided to call my provider law firm (which is what I should have done the first time), and the tax attorney who called us back explained how things work and told me what to expect and what I needed to do. A few weeks later, once I was in a position to pay the balance owned, I called (legal plan) again and that attorney wrote a letter to the IRS on our behalf -- the consultations and the letter cost us nothing extra. Within two weeks, we received a letter back from the IRS saying our penalty had been dismissed! Yeah! That's 3 years worth of my (legal plan) membership saved on one issue.”

“I was audited by the IRS. While I was nervous (it was my first time), I was also confident. My provider law firm assigned me an expert tax attorney with 20+ years experience, and that attorney attended my IRS interview with me. During the interview, when the IRS agent began to grill me about certain deductions, my lawyer stepped in and stopped her. She had not requested info on that area of my returns, so, being 'checked', she agreed and dropped the questioning. That saved me over $22,000! Had it not been for my (legal plan) attorney, I would have innocently answered the questions, not knowing any better. Anyone would! But, because my attorney knew better and stopped me, I didn't... and saved all those payments PLUS interest. On top of that, having the attorney with me cost me nothing extra -- these services were part of my regular monthly plan. I'll have to live to age 115 to recoup the savings my (legal plan) membership has given me in this one instance!”

“Recently, I received a letter from the California State Tax Franchise. The letter stated that I owed in excess of $6,000 for the tax years of 2000, and 2001. I did not live in CA in those years. So, I called them. I was on hold for 1 hour 58 minutes. When I finally reached a human, I was told that I held a license in Speech Pathology and that I lived in Inglewood. Um... No. The representative was not kind and she basically gave me until April 8th to pay the money. I laughed. I called my Provider Law Firm here in Oregon who had me send over docs proving I didn't live in CA. They reviewed them and forwarded them to the CA Provider Law Firm. The CA law firm had me fill in and sign a form stating I am a victim of Identity theft. They then contacted the tax board on my behalf and the subject of the $6,000 was resolved. “My husband went to my daughter’s former employer (a little ice cream shop where she worked over the summer) to get her W2. To our surprise, they gave him a 1099 - they never took out taxes! What the heck?! This is totally illegal by the way, and now my 16-year-old is ready to file taxes for the first time and could OWE because she is considered self-employed — without her knowledge! You better believe that within minutes I called my provider law firm. Two different attorneys called me back - one was an employment attorney, the other a tax attorney. Both were very helpful, very friendly, and gave me the advice that was not only perfect for my situation but thankfully exactly what we wanted to hear. Shame on the ice cream shop for being shady and dishonest, but so glad I had my membership to give me guidance and peace of mind.”

“On Thursday I received a call from my CPA that the 1099 I got from my former Realtor company was grossly incorrect based on actual check stubs I received for payment of rent from a tenant we had to evict. Approximately $17,500 difference! I texted my former management Realtor about it and received a text back saying that her bookkeeper messed up everyone's 1099 for the past year and *her* CPA said if they corrected the 1099s, it would leave us all open to being audited. First, I no longer fear being audited because I have tax attorneys who will represent me with (legal plan), and second, I intend to do the right thing every time. I let my CPA know all this and she tried calling this other CPA — NO answer or return reply. So, I call my provider law firm. The attorney and I spoke for about 40 minutes; she told me exactly what to write in an email and certified letter, word for word, which demanded this other CPA send a corrected 1099 and have it available for pick up Monday at noon. I did exactly as my attorney instructed and sent the Realtor’s CPA an email (with a screenshot of the text) and informed them both that all documentation will be sent to the IRS with my filed tax return. I hurried home to get the certified letter out that night, but...NO NEED — I had my corrected 1099 sent to me via email at 17:33pm. LOVE YOU, (LEGAL PLAN). No bill received for this wonderful service..”

“I received a Tax Sale Notice from the Tax Claims Bureau of Monroe County stating my house would be sold for unpaid property taxes. I'd paid my property taxes 7 years prior and even though I could provide proof of payment in the form of a canceled check, they were unwilling to take my property off the sale list until they 'located the funds'. I was horrified I’d lose my home because of bureaucracy. I called my provider law firm and was speaking with an attorney within 2 hours. He was very courteous and knowledgeable, and answered all my questions about my legal rights. Then, he wrote the letter on my behalf to the County Attorney which apparently lit a fire under the Tax Claims Bureau, because they decided to go ahead and credit my account immediately. Without (my legal plan), I could still be waiting for an answer as the county took its sweet time to get to me, and my property could still be listed on their sale list and possibly even sold at auction. "I was told by my (very expensive) Enrolled Agent that I couldn't claim certain items on my tax return. He was the expert, so we went ahead and filed our taxes. A week later, I still couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. I decided to call my Provider Law Firm so I could speak with a Tax Attorney. Within a few hours, I was having a lengthy and eye-opening consultation; my attorney fully explained the law to me and explained how my Enrolled Agent was partially right, but there were items I COULD claim. Then, he instructed me what forms to fill out, where to get them, how to complete them, and how to file them. I did exactly as he instructed, then sent them in to him to review. After my attorney gave me the green light, I sent everything to the IRS. Six weeks later, I received a check for tax refund in the amount of $4,516.61! I was grateful! All the services from this transaction cost me nothing extra than my regular monthly subscription fees, and, actually, (legal plan) has saved me hundreds of thousands of dollars since February 2000 when I first signed up. I know and will be a member of (legal plan) for life!"

“My dad passed away last October, and as we were going through the estate issues we received a bill from the IRS for $36,673. This was for a federal tax lien for back taxes he owed. I called my provider law firm about it and a tax attorney called me back. We talked, then he said he’d make some calls; when he got back to me, he got the lien reduced to $11,150. I was happy and willing to pay but my attorney said not to pay until the IRS sent me the bill, and before paying, call him back when I got it. I got the bill 8 weeks later and called him... and he said he'd contact the IRS again and get back to me. When he called back he said the debt had been ELIMINATED. I was in shock. He was able to eliminate the debt because there is a statute that says the IRS only has 10 years to collect on a debt, and that deadline passed during the time it took the IRS to send the bill. I am with (legal plan) for life!! This one issue has paid my (legal plan) membership fees for better than 80 years into the future for my family.”

"So (my ex) stuck me with a chunk of debt from the (store). While going through our divorce, I'd contacted my provider law firm to find out what I needed to do to protect myself and get out of the (business he insisted we open) without financial responsibility. The law firm drew up a contract designed by both of us that we signed and notarized. On my lawyer's advice, I also had it put into our judgment/court order. None of that cost me anything, and I thought it was all a done deal. Well, flash forward to 3 years after the day he left (left my kids and me with no warning): He's since filed bankruptcy and never took me off the small business loan so he left me holding the bag. HOWEVER, that golden piece of paper - the contract your (legal plan) lawyers drew up for me - has given me all the power to hold his ass accountable. He will have to pay me back every penny of that loan which is MANY thousands of dollars - he can't include it in his bankruptcy. I'm really happy. I literally handled this entire divorce on my own with help from my provider lawyers - never had to HIRE one, all the help they gave me was covered under my monthly plan... and I'm talking kids, home, business - big things! I can't wait to see his face when he hears this from the judge!! What a great opportunity for ME to discover my strengths and capabilities. I feel so empowered... and let me tell you how happy the lawyer was to explain how I could stick it to him! (Legal plan) and this result is exactly what I needed."

“I want to bring to your attention the wonderful service I received during a particularly trying and painful divorce. I used my Provider Law Firm as a (legal plan) member and wasn't certain what to expect. I have been extremely pleased with my attorney's professionalism and counsel. My divorce dealt with some very complicated and stressful matters regarding custody and domestic violence issues and (name of attorney) handled them with a great deal of compassion. He always returned my calls promptly and patiently explained the relevant points of law I needed to know before making important decisions. He never took my concerns lightly. (Name of attorney) is a credit to your firm and his outstanding customer service should be noted.”

"Our member initially contacted us very stressed out about child support. When he first called our firm, he allegedly owed $1300.00 in child support, and had a $5,538.00 penalty also assessed to him by his ex-spouse who claimed she did not receive checks our member sent to her for child support. A lawyer from our firm advised the member and sent a demand letter to the courts asking for proof from the ex-spouse's financial records, since our member does have proof that the checks he sent to her were, in fact, cashed. The penalty of $5,538.00 has now been removed and our member will likely not owe the $1,300.00, either. The ex-spouse is, in our firm's opinion, trying to commit fraud. Our member has now threatened to sue FMEP, (Family Maintenance Enforcement Program) if they continue to claim he owes these monies."

“Today, thanks largely to advice and assistance of (legal plan) attorneys at law firms in three states, I received these legal documents which provide the answers to a legal mystery which started 21 years before (legal plan company) was founded. In 1951 I was born in one state and given up for adoption. My adoption was done in another state and all records were sealed by both states. When both states opened records, I applied for my records in both states, only to be told by both that they did not have any records related to my birth. During my sixth consultation, this time with an attorney with the law firm in my state of birth, after about 30 minutes on the phone, she mentioned an agency I had never heard of and asked me to stay on the line while she called them. A few minutes later she came back on the line with a woman at that agency. That woman provided me with the information I needed to finally track down these documents. Only someone who was adopted and knows nothing about their biological family can understand how much it means to get this information. All the attorneys took the time to listen to my concerns, ask questions and provide guidance. Without my provider firm and their national network of provider firms, I never would have been able to locate the attorneys who could help me, and I certainly never would have been able to afford their help. My legal expenses for solving this 68-year-old mystery? Nothing more than my monthly subscription fee. The value to me? Beyond measure.”

"I brought a gold necklace to a-cash-for gold spot to sell. While there I found a keyboard I liked, so I traded them my necklace for cash and a keyboard. As soon as I walked out of the store, I noticed the keyboard was broken - the USB port was messed up. I figured it wasn't a big deal; I walked back in to ask if I could exchange my broken keyboard for a different one... and they said NO-- 'All Transactions Final!' I couldn't believe it, I'd left the store TWO minutes prior! I felt completely ripped off. I remembered getting an email that my (legal plan) membership had processed, so I thought, 'Let's see if this works!' I called my provider law firm and explained the situation. An attorney called me back 10 minutes later and I told him what happened. He asked if I was still there, and when I said yes HE TOLD ME TO PUT THE GUY WHO RIPPED ME OFF ON THE PHONE! I walked back in and told the clerk my attorney wanted a word with him. I still don't know what my lawyer said - all I know is that the clerk looked scared and I now have a new keyboard!"

“I just received a check for over $570 in the mail yesterday from an airline that stranded me in Charlotte, NC for 2 days and said their ‘policy’ was to not do anything for me. "We switched from our Internet/cable provider and went with wireless Internet and streaming. I returned the cable box to the cable company -- it was at the END of their return deadline date (I was swamped dealing with a catastrophic medical event with my wife), but it was returned before the deadline. A few months later, I received a bill from the cable company which included a large penalty for not returning the box on time. I contacted the cable company and told them to double-check their inventory because I did return it. Then, I got a collections letter. So, I called my (legal plan) attorneys. They asked some questions, verified some answers, then wrote a letter to the collections company for me. Then, I got a letter from a DIFFERENT collections company. The attorneys wrote ANOTHER letter to this NEW collections company, and, as if by magic, the cable company found the box I'd returned when they double-checked their inventory."

"After two months I’m excited to get my $3300 today. I’ve been fighting with Home Depot for two months on the 4 appliances I’d ordered. After several phone calls and a trip to the store they still owed me $2800 for a refrigerator. I finally called my provider law firm earlier this month and they wrote a certified letter on my behalf to get my money back. Today, 12 days later, I received an apology email, the $2800 credit they owed me and another $550 credit for my trouble. Peace of mind is flexing that legal muscle! I hate that we have to use lawyers to get some people / some companies to act right, but when that happens, having LegalShield is the best solution. This one incident paid for my membership for the next 10 years."

"I had an irrigation problem and asked my landscaper to fix it. No problem. Then, one of his guys broke my water valve and lied about doing it. Big problem. Then, my landscaper's wife got nasty with me on the phone, stating they wouldn’t pay for the repair. That’s when I called (legal plan). I got a plumber to fix my valve and sent the bill to my landscaper with a dictated note from my lawyer. Yada, Yada, Yada.... then we got a check in the mail from landscaper for that full amount, which was $350."

“I had checked out a CD from the library. After I returned it, I received a letter saying the 2nd disk was missing and I owe them $20.00. I called my provider law firm (I didn't bother starting with the library). I sent the attorney I spoke with the letter I’d received and explained I never saw disk 2 and I couldn’t lose something I never had. He composed a letter that beautifully expressed that I and do not owe them for it. That $20 fee went away. It may be only $20, but that's MY $20 and I want to keep it. Thanks, (legal plan)!”

"Back in 2014 I signed a 20-year lease with Solar City (now part of Tesla) in Arizona for solar panels on our house. Everything went smoothly until it was time for APS to hook us to the grid with a special meter. I heard that APS takes its time and we may be waiting for a few months to get our system operational! I called my provider law firm and they gave me the phone number for the Arizona Corporation Commission. I explained the situation and they contacted APS. The next day someone was at my house and we were hooked up within a few days, not months. FYI since that time APS stacked the ACC with its people so they would not have to do this again."

“Spent $480.00 for my reading and sunglasses. Had trouble with the reading glasses from the start, to the point of having headaches when wearing them. After four visits back to the store with nothing being resolved, I went back to my eye doctor who tested the glasses and informed me the Rx was wrong! I took the glasses and report from my eye doc back to the store. The manager, who knew me by name at this point, proceeded to tell me that, ‘because it’s been so long, now there's really nothing we can do.’ I felt ripped off. Within 5 minutes I was on the phone with my provider law firm. When the attorney called me back and listened to the situation, he sent a letter on my behalf to the store. Within a few days I received a complete refund for both pair of glasses - the whole $480.00 was refunded to my credit card.”

“When I first got (legal plan) I was cocktailing for a bar up in Sacramento. One month later my bar closed with no warning. I had to go on unemployment for the first time in my life and 3 months later, instead of receiving my check from EDD, I received a letter on a Friday that EDD was cancelling my benefits. First I stressed, then I called my Provider Law Firm the following Monday. They asked me to fax over the appeal letter for them to review, the attorney called me back in an hour, and helped me write word for word what I needed to write legally to get my benefits back. I hadn't received my benefits in 4 weeks at this point. After I got off the phone with the attorney, I mailed in my appeal - 7days later I had all 4 checks they had refused to pay me in my mailbox! I will forever keep (legal plan) ... they also saved me from getting kicked out of my apartment with the help of them with my appeal!”

“I had a gym membership I canceled because I hurt my shoulder badly. As per the gym’s rules I had to show proof from a doctor, and I provided them with a doctor’s certificate, but the gym kept charging me and threatened to send me to collections. Apparently, there’s a law which says if they don’t stop (once I provide a doctor’s certificate), I can sue them for $35,000. "In September 2020 I was considering an apartment in Boston. I gave them a $1200 deposit, but decided I didn't want it within a week. I naturally expected my deposit to be returned so a few months went by before I noticed it had not. I got in touch with the real estate company who had my deposit and they insisted they had a right to hold onto it as they had removed the property from the market for a week. I was no longer in the Boston area, having decided to relocate to Des Moines, so I reckoned I was screwed. Then it occurred to me that I might be able to change the ending of this story with (legal plan). And I did. I called my provider firm here in Iowa, who put me in touch with the firm that covers Massachusetts, who wrote a letter to the offending party on my behalf. The offending party quickly replied that they'd write a check. That check arrived last week, but surgery prevented me from depositing it earlier. As of this morning, the check has cleared and the $1200 is back in its rightful account - mine. I'm well pleased. Turns out I really could use the money now, and I knew as soon as the check cleared, I'd let you know about my experience in how (legal plan) came through."

"I bought a pretty expensive set of furniture and realized after awhile that it was just defective. I'd purchased the special warranty and figured all would be fine since the furniture was still under warranty. When I called the company, however, I was told that my situation was not covered. Didn't sound right or fair, or anything like what I was told when I bought the furniture and the warranty, so I called my law firm here in Kansas. The attorney who called me back was patient and kind and had me email him pictures of the furniture. Since the warranty company was in Illinois, my Kansas law firm had the Illinois law firm contact me for details, then they wrote a letter to the warranty company on my behalf. Today I got an email and phone call from the general manager of that company!! He would like to reimburse us the cost of our furniture ($3,500) toward a new set of furniture of our choice!! That's like 175 months of my (legal plan) membership now covered and paid for. Thanks, (legal plan)."

"I am so excited! Justice has prevailed! Thank you (Texas Provider Law Firm) for getting my Verizon bill FINALLY corrected. I love Verizon and the service here in Texas.... but, I bought my new phone at a Verizon retail store in CA, and the store manager lied to me about 3 different things in the sales process. What was supposed to be $108 ended up $228, and after (spending way too much time) calling in myself several times without luck; a Verizon supervisor called me a few weeks ago and said 'there was nothing she could do'. So, I called my provider law firm. In retrospect, I should have called them after my first bad call with Verizon. But, after Verizon heard from my lawyer, the same supervisor lady called me this morning to let me know my bill was credited. I checked online and sure enough, it's been corrected to the $108 it should have been all along."

"I had my roof repaired. It was done by one those neighborhood guys who knows how to do a little of everything. He gave me a 10-year labor warranty on the roof and said that if any damages occurred after his fix, I could go get the parts and he'd repair it at no cost. Great! Well, one fall season we had a terrible rain storm. I heard water pouring INTO my kitchen from the ceiling -- it was bad! I called him and told him about the issue, he said he'd be by to check it out. Turned out I needed shingles. I went out and bought what he said I needed and let him know the shingles were in the garage. His response was, 'if you want my son and I to go back up on the roof, I'm going to need another $300!' Of course, I was mad and confused, since that's not what we discussed. I even repeated to him what his contract said. He told me he knew what it says but he still wanted the $300 to make it worth his time. I had a leaking roof I needed fixed and under any other circumstance, I'd have just paid him the $300 (easier and likely cheaper than hiring someone else cold). BUT, I had a law firm. I called my provider firm, they had me send in the contract to review and a lawyer got back with me same day and told me he'd be sending the guy and his son a letter. I received a copy of that letter by mail the following Thursday, I'm guessing the same day the handyman got it. On Sunday morning I was getting ready for church and heard banging on my roof. It was him! Lol! He didn't say hi or bye, he just repaired the roof ... without that $300! My big brother (legal plan) law firm to the rescue!"

"So I left town last month and my electric company decided to turn off my power (they got the wrong house). With me being gone 8 days, you can imagine, in 112 degree weather with no AC, what my fridge smelled like when I returned. Of course they corrected their mistake and apologized but didn't feel the need to do anything else. “I’m so grateful for the help I received from my provider attorney. I’d been stressed and dealing with health complications, like irregular heartbeats, due to a letter I received from a collection company that claimed I owed Deutsche Bank $89,500 and said I needed to make payment arrangements immediately. I called (legal plan) to ask for guidance. My attorney had me send a copy of the collection letter to them for review, then called to let me know he was sending a letter on my behalf to the collection agency - he said I should expect a response within 10 days. On the 8th day, I got a letter saying they had 'closed and ceased all collections on the account.' They also stated they did not report anything derogatory on my credit report. "One year three months ago my husband suddenly passed away. His last wishes were to be laid to rest at the cemetery near his mother’s resting spot. The total cost for his burial spot, the service and headstone were paid in full when we made arrangements. Then, we encountered several issues with the cemetery adding more stress to an already difficult time. One, our last name on the liner box in the casket was misspelled. We only realized it after the burial through pictures, so the grave had to be reopened and nameplate replaced - it’s proof of identity in the event of a natural disaster. Second, the day they replaced the nameplate, as they refilled his grave, the trailer backed into the grave - nearly hitting me, our son and the manager - almost landing on the casket. A tractor had to lift the trailer out of the grave. Nightmare. Finally, we called our provider law firm a little over a week ago because his headstone had still not been delivered and placed, more than a year after his burial and we couldn’t get them to give us a date of completion. (Legal plan) helped immediately. The lawyer gave me all my options then wrote a letter demanding they deliver and place the headstone right away because they were in breach of contract. If they failed to deliver, we’d proceed to demand full refund of $6,000 plus legal and other fees for the stress they caused us. They also had to allow us to purchase a headstone from a company of our choice. When they received the certified letter, the headstone was placed in 2 days. I received an apology by phone from the cemetery CEO and a promise to replace all sod around the headstone from the tractor damage AND he gave his direct number for future questions or concerns I may have. This is the 3rd time (legal plan) has gotten me prompt and positive results on a legal matter."

"Called my provider law firm this morning to speak to an attorney about my insurance coverages. Want to make sure I have the right amounts to protect myself and my assets. When the attorney called me back we had a 20 minute conversation about what I thought was a very simple question. But he took his time with me, making sure I understood everything, throwing in some financial planning tips, and giving me advice on how to discern a genuine recommendation from a sales pitch. "(Legal plan) helped me re-open an old case. I was feeling so overwhelmed with all of the paperwork that the tribunal sent over to me to fight my case, My provider lawyer, again, took all the pressure and overwhelm off of me. I honestly cannot be happier with this service, I keep laughing and looking up and saying thank you so much to God/the universe for this ridiculously amazing gift!! And how grateful I am that regular people, like myself, have the financial opportunity to also get help – not just super wealthy people who can afford lawyers for hundreds of dollars an hour; I feel included in this community and it’s spreading a new way of doing business, or spreading a new way of creating systems where every person gets to benefit (not just the wealthy). “I bought a $2,000.00 computer, and from the day the company shipped it to me it just never worked right. After going back and forth with the company and assuring them I didn’t DO anything wrong to the computer, I finally asked for them to send me a new one that actually worked. They said it was against their 'POLICY'. I called my provider law firm, they reviewed my warranty on the computer and then wrote a letter to the President and CEO of the computer company and I received a new computer the following Thursday. AMAZING! I would never have called an attorney at over $200+ an hour on an issue like this, but since I didn't have to think about how much it would cost to check my rights, I did and it worked out in my favor. "I've been leasing an apartment in Austin for the last year. My lease was set to end December 19th. I gave my complex 30 days notice that I would not be renewing my lease. In early December, I got a notice that I was supposed to give them 60 days notice and because I didn't, I'd need to pay them an extra month of rent. That didn't sound or feel right, so I called our (legal plan) provider law firm. Funny, it didn't sound right to the lawyer who called me back, either. On December 5th, he wrote a strong, to-the-point letter to the property management company, citing lines from their own contract back to them, and using expressive language like 'I trust your itemized statement to Mr. Simko will include no additional charge, otherwise we must advise him of his options to pursue any improper charges, including filing a lawsuit.' I approved the letter and they sent it via certified mail. The consultation, advice, letter ...all included with my (legal plan). It's December 27th and I just verified my renter's account has been closed -- seems they were motivated to drop their bogus charges. This whole situation felt a little like extortion, where they were trying to squeeze an extra month of rent out of me, thinking I'd never get an attorney. Wonder how many other tenants they've pulled this on who just paid it? Glad (legal plan) had my back."

“For the past two years we’ve been battling with a company who said we owed them over $2,000 for a breach of contract, when they were the one who terminated the contract. After talking and having heated discussions many times, we decided to contact our provider law firm and speak with an attorney who knew our rights. The attorney we spoke with listened and felt we were in the right, so he wrote a letter on our behalf, at no extra cost to us - it was mailed off just about 3 weeks ago. Today, we received a letter from that company’s legal department in response (via our law firm since they had to cease all communications with us per our attorney). It was written in such a way we didn't quite understand, so we called our Provider Law Firm again and asked them to explain to be sure. Yep! The company dropped the $2,000 they said we owed them. "I was very happy with services I'd received at my local UPS store, and got an email survey from UPS that day I was happy to complete. After submitting my survey, a thank-you popped up, and I could choose a gift — all I had to pay was $4.99 for shipping. I chose a 'miracle-all-your-wrinkles-will-be-gone' cream. A few days later, the cream arrived. Great! I checked my account, and $4.99 was charged. Great! Didn't think much more of it, used the cream ... kept my wrinkles ... then a few weeks later, I got ANOTHER jar of cream. Checked my account and saw I'd been billed $197!! I called the 'cream company' and they said their policy was to give me a 50% store credit -- no refunds. So, I called my provider law firm and explained that I had NEVER signed up for auto-shipment. "I booked a $174.24 flight through Kayak and for some reason the booking went through a sleazy company. I realized my dog was 1/2 lb. over their limit, so I needed to cancel -- in the confirmation email it said free cancellation within 24 hours of booking. It was the 23rd hour. I call. I wait on hold. For 40 minutes. A recording comes on: 'we are unable to assist you at this time; please call back tomorrow' and the call disconnects. I call the next morning. On hold for 97 minutes. I explain what happened. I was put on hold for another 17 minutes because only a supervisor could 'help'. Supervisor comes on and says they can't process a refund because I didn't call within 24 hours. I explained, again, that I DID, but THEIR system hung up on ME. I explained 3 more times, and the supervisor hung up on me. So, I tapped my (legal plan) app. My attorney wrote a letter. This morning I logged into my bank and what do you know... there was a deposit for $174.24. Apparently they CAN make an exception to their policy with the proper motivation. In 17 years, I've had 16 letters written and 13 of 16 times, I got my money back. That's an 81.25% success rate. None of those letters were for issues over $400, either. I'd never call an attorney for a $174 issue."

"While on a trip to Chicago I booked a hotel whose website promoted 'Stay 3 Nights, Get 2 Nights Free'. Our trip was for 5 nights, so I chose that hotel specifically for the savings as I would only have to pay 3 nights. Well upon checking out, they told me I owed all 5 nights. I pointed to the sign at their registration desk and said I was expecting the promotion to count. They did not apply the discount and I ended up paying all 5 nights. When I got home to California, I called my provider law firm to ask for advice and inquire about my legal rights. They decided to write a letter to the hotel on my behalf and 10 days later I got a certified check in the mail for $150 for the 2 nights the hotel overcharged me! This is just one of many times (legal plan) has helped my family, and we have saved thousands of dollars. This is why I LOVE (legal plan) and I will refer it to everyone I know!"

"I received a letter in the mail stating that I owed an insurance company $600 for services. I challenged the claim. A few weeks later, another letter arrived stating that my bill was being turned over to a collection agency. I called my Provider Law Firm in Georgia and explained the situation. My attorney advised me to send over all my documents ASAP. I did, then my Law Firm sent the insurance company a letter explaining why I did not owe the money, etc. A few weeks go by again, and I get another letter in mail from the insurance company… this time stating my bill was clear and apologizing for their error. Signed, sealed and delivered. I will always have my (legal plan) membership and thank you to the team of attorneys for always having my back when needed.”

Then my stepdad called (legal plan), and his lawyer reviewed the contract he signed and promptly wrote a letter to the company. The result was an apology letter from the salesman and a refund of all the money he invested in the hearing aids.”

"So, my Verizon guy was telling me today about how his disability claim from a few years ago was never paid to him. I told him about (legal plan), and how it might be something that could help. He loved the idea and concept of (legal plan) - as well as the low price - so he enrolled. First thing he did was call in to find out his rights regarding that unpaid disability claim. That first call resulted in a letter written on his behalf and $5,000 sent to him soon thereafter. He may have only used his membership once so far, but it's pretty much paid for itself for the next 200 months."

“My 10-year term Life Insurance policy was coming up for renewal. I thought I did what I needed to do to cancel it, but, due to a misunderstanding, they continued to draw the premium from my bank account for one year. I called my (legal plan) provider firm to discuss, and my lawyer wrote a demand letter. Unfortunately, the demand letter did not get the company to stop drafting me, so my lawyer spelled out my options. Before taking the issue to Small Claims Court, he suggested I draft an appeal letter to the insurance company. I did that and sent it in to my law firm for review, and they told me to send it in. Once the insurance company reviewed my letter - the second for my case - they agreed with me, and I can now expect a full refund for monies drawn out of my account over the last year. My issue was resolved to my 100% satisfaction. It was an incredible show of teamwork, and I feel very well supported.”

"Went to a chicken place and ordered 2 wing meals in the drive-thru, but got home and discovered they gave me 2 children’s meals. Called them to resolve and the manager never came back to the phone. Called my Provider Law Firm the next morning, and the attorney who called me said nothing is too trivial or traumatic and said they would write a letter on my behalf. They wrote a nice 'motivational' letter - haha! - and within 5 days, the chicken place mailed me a check for $10.37 and $20 in gift cards. No one would think to call a $250 hour attorney for a $10.37 problem, but with (legal plan) we have the power to do so."

“Last year I ordered my daughter a bedroom set from a discount furniture store. It took months to be delivered - not their fault, just how the world is right now. I had to get her old dresser out, so I told them I’d put the new one in. Well, as we got around to filling the drawers of her new dresser with clothes, we noticed the bottom drawer had a puncture through the bottom. Because I called them 3 days after delivery, they didn’t want to exchange it for an undamaged one. Several calls to the store manager, 6 emails to customer care with pictures and calls to their corporate customer care and they still refused. I called my provider law firm, they wrote a letter to the company and guess who called me yesterday? We’ll be getting a new dresser delivered, but why did it have to get to that point?! In our messed up world, I’m so relieved to know I’m protected... because it’s not IF you’ll ever need a lawyer, it’s when. Thanks, (legal plan)!”

“On December 9, I cracked the screen on my phone. I contacted Verizon and was told by their rep I could take it to a store and get it replaced for ‘approximately $29.99’. When I got to the store I was told they no longer have technicians in stores and I would need to file an insurance claim to get my screen repaired. When I contacted the insurance company, they informed me there isn't a screen replacement available for my phone and that I would have to pay a $199 deductible to get the phone replaced. Then, I contacted my provider law firm. I shared all the information with them and they sent a letter to Verizon's legal department. I just got a call from my attorney saying Verizon called to say they’ll be giving me a $200 bill credit for the replacement of the phone. All this attorney work cost me NOTHING outside my monthly membership. (LEGAL PLAN) WORKS.”

"I bought a $200 phone. After a few weeks, it stopped working. I called the company and was told to box it up and send it back. I did, but I was moving at that time and the box got lost. I called and explained - they said they'd note my account and I could send it in later, which I did. A month later, I got it back -- the company denied it, and sent me a bill! Turned out, the company was now under new ownership. I called numerous times, spoke with managers, explained what happened and got nowhere. Now this new company reported a bad mark on my credit and I was getting calls and letters from their Law Firm for collections. This went on for almost 3 years!! A friend told me about (legal plan) and I wasn't interested at first because I hated attorneys and didn't trust them. Thankfully, she made me just try it - I had nothing to lose. The first thing I did was call about this issue. At my lawyers request, I sent them everything I collected over the years. My lawyer said he couldn't promise me anything because the issue was so old, but they'd try. Next thing I knew, I got a letter from the phone company with an apology and notice they were removing the bad mark off my credit report. That felt so good after all I'd been through. Since then, I have used MY Law Firm many times, and have NEVER been disappointed in the help or advice they gave me. This is one membership I will never be without."

“Over the last two months, I worked with [my attorney] many times. She assisted my mom (who also has {legal plan}) and me in dealing with a problem we had with a major shipping company. The company lost an item valued at $1,000.00 that we shipped using their next-day service. We were informed several times over 2 months that they could not find our item, and when we were offered only $100 to cover the loss, our attorney sent an incredible two-page letter. It must have grabbed someone’s attention because within a few days, the missing item was found and returned to us. Our attorney went above and beyond with all the advice she offered through this situation as well as the great letter she drafted. We appreciate your commitment to great service.”

"I bought an XBOX 1 bundle totaling about $600.00. [The Major Electronics Store] said I could return it within 14 days if I was not satisfied. Four days later, I went to return my bundle and they said the serial number of my Xbox 1 didn’t match the receipt and they couldn’t take my return! For an hour we went back and forth on how this could possibly be a mistake! At the end, I went home with my bundle and vented to everyone I possibly could. Then, I thought… why not call my provider lawyers and see if they can help? After talking with my lawyer, they sent a letter on my behalf to the [The Store] manager. Five days later, I got a call from the store manager apologizing — it was their mistake, the clerk scanned the wrong UPC merchandise during my transaction! The next day, I got a full refund, plus a $50.00 gift card and I didn’t pay a dime to use my law firm! BOOM! Thanks, (legal plan)!"

“My wife and I were scheduled to go on a cruise with friends, and I ended up with surgery and couldn't go. The documents indicated how to get a refund within certain parameters, which we met, and what we paid in advance was not a small amount of money, so we filed for the refund. The cruise company responded by saying I needed my doctor's permission and asked what medicine(s) I took - just a lot of subterfuge. Over time, I talked to many different people, sent letters, but, ultimately nothing happened; they kept holding my money. Finally, I called (legal plan). That call in to my Provider Law Firm allowed me to lay my problem in my law firm’s lap, and within 10 days I was refunded the full amount AND I got a letter of apology.”

“I recently flew home from Columbus, by way of a layover in Chicago. When I arrived in Moline, my luggage did not. I went to the claims counter, filled out the form and went home. The next morning the airline called and said they had my luggage and would deliver it to my home within two hours. Several hours later they called and said they’d lost my luggage again. Evidently, my bag was put on the luggage carousel and taken. They asked for three days to find it, and after three days told me to start the claims process. Well, the claim process was a nightmare - I had 45 days to find receipts for everything in my luggage, and I had to fill out a 7-page form and fax it in. A week later I called the claims department to check on status, and you can imagine how upset I was when told there was no claim - they couldn’t find it. I faxed it in again. A week later, I called, and, again, they lost my claim. Exasperated, I told the lady they also lost my business and I’d be contacting my lawyer, to which she replied if they didn’t have my claim within 45 days I wouldn’t be reimbursed, and reimbursement takes 6-8 weeks. I called my provider law firm. I told the attorney everything and faxed him all the paperwork, including my claim form. He wrote a two page letter to the airline. Ten days later, I received a written apology from the airline and a check for $2,500. When dealing with these billion dollar companies, one must have an attorney to be heard.”

"I was on an overnight business trip and saw a vending machine selling 16 oz. Monster energy drinks. I put in $2.75, and out came the Monster - or so I thought. Nothing I did was going to get that 16 oz. can out of the hole designed for 12 oz. cans. Being a Good Samaritan, I called the toll-free number on the vending machine -- I was leaving the next morning, so I wasn't expecting my money back... I just wanted to help out another business owner because *no one* was getting anything out of that machine with my can stuck there. The rudest person I've ever spoken to answered the phone. As I tried explaining the situation, he actually called me a B-word. WHAT? Oh, yes he did! I ended the call and shared my experience with some friends that evening when one encouraged me to call (legal plan). We laughed ... and strictly based on principle, I did. When the attorney called me back, he even chuckled and asked what I wanted him to do. I didn't know, but I said no one should be spoken to like that. My attorney agreed, then asked for my home address and the number I'd dialed the night before. About 10 days later, I got an awkward, heavy envelope in the mail with 4 stamps. I opened it up to find $2.75 in quarters and a yellow Post-It note with 'I can't believe you called an attorney' written on it. Hey, it was the principle."

"I've been a DirecTV customer for 2 years. I called their automated system to make a partial payment on my bill. I went through the prompts correctly, but their automated system charged me the full amount -- $400 OVER what I planned to pay. I called DirecTV's customer service and they told me there was nothing they could do and it would take 7-10 business days to refund my $400. I called my bank to reverse the charges, but they said only DirecTV could. I was ticked. So, I called my provider law firm, an attorney called me back in 5 minutes and advised me to call DirecTV back and get a supervisor on the line, then call him to 3-way conference him in. I did that. The same people who said there was nothing they could do an hour earlier were suddenly scrambling to refund my money - less my intended payment - within 3 days. I'm happy I didn't have to stress and that now this is being handled the way it should have been in the first place."

We went back and forth a few times, they held firm, I was frustrated, and as I was about to leave, defeated, I thought ‘let me try that legal plan I have’ since I was a brand new member at the time. "My Sprint cell service was dropping calls for the last several months and they just couldn’t seem to get the towers to fix the signal in my area. I called them and said I want out of my contract... they said, 'It's a $260 termination fee,' so, I said, 'You will hear from my attorney,’ and she said 'OK, but you’ll still pay the fee'. I went ahead and canceled. Then, I called (legal plan) and my attorney wrote Sprint's legal department a letter on my behalf. That was 3 weeks ago. Today, I got a call from their legal department saying they were 'sorry' AND that they credited my account $283 ($260 plus tax)! Plus, I got to keep the iPhone I had through them, which I am selling on eBay for $300+ now that I got my upgraded iPhone from Verizon! I love (legal plan). “Just hung up from a phone call with my attorney in Minneapolis. I was on that call for 33 minutes and I will not be receiving a bill. In fact, my attorney is in the process of writing two demand letters because I was wronged by Verizon and again by GM Financial - he told me that we have a ton of pull here, especially with the evidence I have. He was blown away when I told him what occurred with my situations and I was grateful I had the ability to reach out to an actual lawyer for help. It is times like THESE in life that having attorneys in your back pocket (without worrying about additional costs) is absolutely life changing. If I didn’t have (legal plan), I would have had a good cry figuring I had NO rights, I would have complained to friends then tried to brush it off. “I bought a product online, but before I received it, I decided I didn't want it. I called the company to see if there were any special instructions I needed to know to return the product once I received it. The guy I spoke with said no, but I would only get a 12% refund. I knew that wasn't right and asked why. He said, "It's our policy". I responded, 'I spent $80 on a product I don't want and you'll only give me a 12% refund when I return it unused and new?' He confirmed. I asked to speak to a supervisor, she told me the same thing, so I told her they'd be hearing from my attorney. She laughed. I hung up. I called my provider law firm and the attorney who called back listened to what I shared and said, 'Mr. Gilbert, that is not right, how about I send them letter for you?' I said, 'Yes sir, that works for me.' He did just that. I received a copy of that letter and a week later, the full amount of the refund was deposited back into my account. “The lawyers from our Florida Provider Law Firm just helped me get $1,729.00 in a settled unemployment claim that has been ongoing for more than 2 months. I just got the letter in the mail today notifying me that the decision of denial was reversed in a telephone conference appeal hearing due to insufficient evidence. A lawyer from our firm made a phone call to my previous employer's payroll/leasing company on my behalf presenting legal facts about my case. “The lawyers got my dry cleaner to pay me $48 to replace a shirt they ruined. Got The Adams Mark hotel to return a $750 room deposit they were refusing to give back. Got an airline to give my wife and me vouchers for two free round-trip tickets after a bad experience. Handled an IRS audit very successfully. Got a truck rental company to pay us the $285 difference when they didn’t have the truck we reserved and we had to find one elsewhere and pay more. Got Nextel to replace a cell phone three times for free when it wasn’t working properly. The lawyers advised me on how I can talk publicly about how I invest without crossing any lines with the SEC. Got my previous tenant to stand down when they tried suing me for the $800 I kept from his security deposit which I used to cover the unpaid water bill he stuck me with. Helped me win a $4K judgment against a landscape company that I’d paid $30K to for a job they didn’t finish. The lawyers went to traffic court for me and won, keeping points off my drivers record so my insurance rates didn’t increase. When a hurricane caused dropped calls in our neighborhood (I work from home) all day for three weeks, Sprint wasn’t fixing it so I canceled and got a new iPhone from Verizon; Sprint charged me $283 for early termination of my 2-year contract, but (legal plan) sent their legal department a letter and they refunded the $283. We got our Wills, living wills, and medical directives done for our family and didn’t have to pay a dime (usually $1K elsewhere). When a spa company refused to replace a faulty control board for our hot tub, our lawyers sent a letter and the board was replaced. The lawyers reviewed documents and advised me on a sizable private investment I was making. They advised me on how to handle my tree falling into my neighbor’s fence. When the USPS lost two whole cases of my book that I’d shipped to a buyer, then denied my insurance claim, (legal plan) wrote a letter to the postmaster and I received two checks totaling $845.18. I had a confessed judgment note for $10K, and when the payment date came, he refused to pay until (legal plan) wrote a demand letter… then I got my $10K. (Legal plan) works.”

"Within our community lives a handful of neighbors who repeatedly make passive-aggressive comments (often with a racist or bigoted undertone) on local social media pages, trying to shame anyone who doesn't align with their narrow views. One individual obtained an unauthorized photo of my minor son and posted that photo in a private group page I'm not part of, attempting to shame both he and I as he was getting a Covid vaccine. I was furious when I learned about it, as were several others who took screenshots and sent them my way. I didn't know what our rights were, so I called our provider law firm. The lawyer who called me and reviewed the situation - also a mom - decided to write a cease and desist letter to this individual and her husband, threatening legal action if they ever typed my name, my son's name or shared our images on social media again. As this neighbor is a Realtor, the letter threatened to take information about this event, along with multiple screen shots of her ugly online behavior over the years to their broker and our state's Realtor organization. Since this neighbor received the letter from our law firm, she and her husband have avoided me at all costs - won't make eye-contact, and even got out of line in our neighborhood July 4th parade so as not to be near me (substantial considering that her behavior prior to getting the letter included obnoxiously revving her car or motorcycle engine while driving slowly past my house several times weekly 🙄). It may seem petty, but it felt GREAT to take the first step in legal action against such a person and to let her know I wouldn’t hesitate to hold her (and her husband) accountable for their behavior and actions. Thanks, (legal plan)."

“I'm a truck driver. About 2 years ago I made a stupid mistake - I was overweight and got pulled into the weigh station in Arizona. My gross weight was ok, but I was waaaay over on my drive axles. The officer was super nice, but said he couldn't just give me a warning so I got a ticket. Before even leaving the weigh station, I sent the citation to my CDL plan (legal plan) provider law firm. I was assigned an attorney in the area the next day and from the time that attorney was on it, my ticket’s court hearing kept getting continued for about a year and a half. Finally, my attorney emailed me to let me know he defended me in court and all I needed to do was take an online class and it would be dismissed! The fine would have been $5,000, which I did not have to pay! I also did NOT have to take any time off work to show up in court. Needless to say, I was ecstatic. This story is somewhat embarrassing to me to share because I should have known better. But all this representation was fully covered and didn't cost me any more than my monthly (legal plan) membership.”

“I had been working for my employer for 4 years. In July we got a new boss who took over the office and it soon became a pretty hostile work environment. After numerous calls back and forth to HR, my life had gotten pretty stressful! Through it all, I’d also been working with my law firm - thanks to (legal plan) - to make sure I knew what my rights were. I spent 1-2 hours a week consulting with my lawyer who gave me the best advice; she told me to be as positive as possible and willing to do whatever it takes when speaking with HR. Finally, HR took a trip out to visit me in my office and soon realized I was right about the hostile environment. It took about 3 weeks for HR to figure out how to get me out of this situation, and thanks to my having unlimited access to legal advice through this whole process, I was at home being paid while they figured out. Now I work in another office and couldn’t be happier. It would have never happened without (legal plan).”

“While dog sitting for precious little Daisy, she was attacked at the dog park by a pit bull twice her size. The dog who attacked was protecting her 8-week-old puppy (which should not have been there). After the attack, the pit's owners didn’t want to cooperate. Once I got a cell phone number for them, I stepped a few feet away and called (legal plan)'s emergency number. An attorney was on within 2 minutes and she told me the options: 1.) I could call the police who would dispatch animal control, the pit's owners would be issued a ticket for an aggressive animal that caused injuries and their dog would be branded as aggressive and dangerous; animal control would likely seize her for behavioral tests, and they'd have to pay the citation, court costs, all Daisy's vet bills, and any other legal fees... or, 2.) They could follow me to the vet and sign a promissory note agreeing to pay back every dime. When I told the pit's owners I just spoke with my attorney and laid out their options, they chose option 2. The attorney told me exactly how to word the promissory note, they did follow me to the vet, they did sign the promissory note and agreed to pay me back in full within 6 weeks. “One of my (legal plan) members here in Ohio was terminated from her nursing job during Covid. She is Asian and the residents at the nursing home thought they could get Covid from her, due to her ethnicity. Because she was terminated, she couldn’t collect unemployment. "While my mother was in hospice, I needed legal advice. I called her attorney to see if I could pay him for advice, but when he yelled at ME when he realized he hadn't done her Power of Attorney or Healthcare Directive, I hung up and never got the legal advice I needed... and I was scared to call another attorney because of cost. I ended up dealing with everything on my own; I never got legal advice or had court documents reviewed ... none of it ... because the thought of paying $300+ per hour was daunting. Although I got it all done, it was a frightening process that cost me a lot of money. Six months later, a friend told me about (legal plan). I asked 'Where were you when I really needed this?!' and enrolled on the spot. For me, it was a no-brainer. I'll never be without this plan. I’d gone through six months of stress and fear because I felt I couldn't afford to use attorneys - that was enough of a lesson for me. Since enrolling, I've called my provider law firm about a variety of issues, just to get advice and guidance. They've reviewed rental contracts for me, too. I know that if I’m ever pulled over I have an attorney to call 24/7, whether I’m in an accident or pulled over in the middle of nowhere (and concerned as a black woman). You have no idea what it’s like to have to deal with life's legal issues all alone ... scared ... when you feel you can't afford an attorney. With (legal plan), I have peace of mind for less than a dollar a day. I learned the hard way that if you don't know your rights, you have none, and that it's much better to be prepared before life events happen."

“I was almost arrested for 'stealing' some broken pieces of wood in a bin next to the road ... with a FREE sign sitting in front of. My brother was with me and was getting arrested as well. I told the officer I would like to call my attorney immediately and he just looked at me and sort of ignored me then continued to arrest my brother. I had my phone already in hand so I dialed the emergency number. A lady answered and I gave her my member number, and an attorney was on the phone in about 20 seconds. When the officer turned to handcuff me, I tried to hand him my phone and said, 'My attorney would like to speak with you'. He took a step back and told me he wouldn't take the phone. After that, the attorney began to ask a series of questions through me to the officer and by the end of a 2-3 minute conversation between the three of us, the officer got back into his car and sped off. My brother and I both went home that night with no charges! I would absolutely recommend (legal plan) to anyone and everyone. Great service.”

"I consulted with a Salem, OR attorney who charged me $100 for a consultation and then offered to represent me for $2000 for my immigration process. A week later, I met a local Sheriff who introduced me to (legal plan) and I enrolled right away. I received, at no extra cost, a 45 - 60 minute consultation and the attorney advised me as to what forms I needed to complete and what attachments I needed to gather. When I filled everything out, I had 162 pages of documentation. I called my (legal plan) and asked what it would cost for the attorney to review them prior to submission; 15 pages is the limit per occurrence, but the lawyer told me the normal cost would be reduced to $300 for me as a member. I happily paid this and the attorney I worked with reviewed all the paperwork with me checking everything and editing my work. No stone was left unturned. He was incredibly thorough and precise. He told me I could now submit and that I should expect to hear in about 8-10 months. Nine weeks later, I received a letter asking my wife and I to come in for the final interview. That day, in the interviewer’s office, her first words were, 'Mr. and Mrs. Booth, I have to tell you that our back office in Minnesota has examined your application and told me that it is so perfect I do not have a single question to ask you. Please could you show me your wedding photos?' After a few minutes of looking at pictures she looked up at me and said 'Mr Booth, welcome to America.' In total, by using our Membership for our home purchase - which included document prep, review, phone calls, discounts, everything included - I totaled everything up and we SAVED a total of $24,100.00 on our home purchase!!! That will cover our family's legal and identity theft plans for the next 54 years... even if I never used the membership again (but you know I will)!!!"

"I've worked for the Sheriff's Department for over 20 years, and came across (legal plan) a few years ago. I saw immediate need for the service, and enrolled my family on the spot. I have also referred several other officers who are my friends. Well, today, I was on duty and was called to go assist another agency on a traffic stop/arrest. The officer from the other agency was attempting to arrest a lady they have a history with. After the arrest was made and the lady swore she would sue him, he walked over to me and said, 'Glad I have (legal plan)!' The confidence this service gives us while we are on the job is so reassuring!"

"My husband purchased a Harley Davidson years ago. The total cost was close to $25,000, and it was almost paid off. While moving, to keep it safe, we left the bike at his mom's summer home. When we went to retrieve it, it was gone and she’d returned to her home in Florida! We reported the bike stolen, only to learn the cosigner on his loan decided to take it without notice. Our hands were tied; the police were no help as both parties had claim to the Harley on paper ... but, my husband was primary owner, had less than 1 year of payments left at $388 a month and was still making payments, while the cosigner only had the bike a couple months and was making no payments. The situation became hostile and financially detrimental the longer we did not have it in our possession. We called our provider law firm. One letter is all it took to have the cosigner work it out, and the letter cost us nothing! Not only do we have the motorcycle now, but we have the title and a lot of peace of mind. Thank you (legal plan)!"

“I was employed with a company for less than 3 months under an agreement for commissioned sales. Under the agreement, the company was to pay me commissions earned from my sales up to 3 months after resignation. I kept diligent records of my sales and requested the $1500 owed to me from the company several times with no reply, so I contacted my provider law firm. My attorney reviewed all my documentation then sent the company a demand letter to pay outstanding commissions, along with a friendly reminder to govern themselves accordingly. The next day I received a phone call from the company that a check for $1500 was ready for pickup at my convenience. Did I mention I had that same sales agreement reviewed by my law firm before I signed it? Thanks (legal plan)!”

"I turned right on a green in the middle of the desert with not much around, when the car in front of me and I were both pulled over by a police car. I could see the driver in front of me was a young girl, and with my ponytail, tank top and sunglasses, I likely looked much younger than I was. The officer approached my car, asked for license and registration, then said I made an illegal turn. I handed him what he'd asked for and respectfully said the light was green when we all turned. Then, his eyes travel to my chest! I fumed inside, but remained calm as he went to speak to the girl. I pulled out my phone and my (legal plan) app ... but didn’t place the call yet. I could see the girl's face in her side-view mirror, but couldn't hear them. Cop came back to my window and AGAIN stared at my chest, so ... I asked, 'Sir, are you looking at my chest?'. He fumbled for words (said his eyes were bad) and put on sunglasses. At that point, I showed him my phone app with the emergency button ready to tap. Calmly, I said, 'You pulled us over in the middle of nowhere for turning right on a green, which is a legal turn, stared at my chest when addressing me and can't provide a legitimate reason for our detainment. Let us go, or I'm calling my lawyers now and you can explain to them why we are pulled over.' He made an excuse but let us both go. I believe 99% of police officers are good people doing a good job, but I also believe every mom, wife and daughter and every person of color should have (legal plan) for the 1% who might not be."

"I’ve been looking into finally getting my college degree. Found the school back in May and finally decided to apply as I figured out I wanted to get my BA in Criminal Justice. As I was filling out the application I saw a drop-down menu of affiliate perks and scanned the list. I saw (legal plan), I clicked, I was prompted to log in to confirm ....and it took. I not only saved 20% off my tuition costs, but I also don’t have to pay for my technology costs, which are my eBooks for the courses. Overall, I went from a $60k degree to a $38k degree with all the (legal plan) MemberPerks savings! I am pleasantly shocked. Thank you (legal plan)!"

“December 26 at 9pm, my friend and I found ourselves in handcuffs. Let me explain: We were helping a woman we knew move from her apartment to a storage unit as she’d lost her lease and was being evicted. In the chaos of loading up, my briefcase was lost. As I frantically looked through all the boxes, apparently a neighbor was watching... then, as we headed down to the basement to get the washer and dryer, the neighbor called the police and said we were thieves stealing. Suddenly, the cops were there, my friend and I were in handcuffs, and nothing we could say about our innocence got their attention until I asked to call my lawyer. I called (legal plan)’s emergency line and was talking with an attorney from our Missouri Provider Firm within minutes. Suddenly, the conversation went from us being taken downtown to the officers saying their watch commander instructed them to release us, saying the whole situation was ‘null and void’. It was at that moment I knew I’d never be without (legal plan).”

"I've owned a home and paid for homeowners insurance for over 20 years and haven’t used it ... but I won’t cancel it. I've paid for health insurance for almost 20 years, and with a $10K deductible, I've never gotten value out of it ... but I won't cancel it. I've had auto insurance 30 years and haven't caused an accident ... but I won't cancel it. I've paid into life insurance 20+ years and haven't gotten any value from it, either ... but I won't cancel it. I've had (legal plan) 20 years and I've used it hundreds of times; I used it for things as small as $1.50 (it was the principle), and lawsuits that were over $1 million (I was an investor in a subdivision that crashed in 2008). My provider lawyers have reviewed all my contracts before I bought real estate or new cars, they’ve updated my estate planning with each new kid (we have 8), and they've advised us through all major purchases and each time the tax laws changed. If times got hard and I had to downsize, I'd let every other insurance I pay for go before (legal plan) because it's the only thing I get value from annually - every other policy requires something catastrophic to happen before I get value."

"I just can't believe the value! I don't have time to research every area of law to learn everything I need to know to run my life - especially for estate planning, which is what we were needing, and what inspired us to enroll my family for LegalShield. I am amazed this top law firm will prepare my entire Will, keep it updated annually AND answer any question I have at any time - as well as everything else this does - for this small monthly fee. As a busy lawyer, I know what an hour of my time is valued at in the market, so for every subscriber to have this much access, in my opinion, makes (legal plan) the best value out there and I’m happy we found it. No doubt we’ll be subscribers for life, because none of us ever knows what will come up next."

"My child was being bullied and the police wouldn't do anything about it. We called the District Attorney's office, and nothing changed. Our child was still being relentlessly bullied by other neighborhood children. Finally, we called our (legal plan) law firm and the attorney we spoke with immediately called the Police Department, demanded badge numbers and informed them of impending suit if the officers continued failing to do their jobs! The bullying stopped and our child's safety and right to comfort was secured. We would never think to call or pay for an attorney to know what to do, or how to handle this situation. Being a member of (legal plan), we didn't have to think about anything. We just called in, spoke to an attorney, and they took action for us! Thank you, (legal plan).”

“I’m a Realtor. Last year I had a listing with an agent for a buyer who was legitimately wacko. Throughout the transaction she made mountains out of molehills and several completely unreasonable requests. Example, the home was built in the 1970s and had electrical issues; I hired a licensed electrician I trust. After he did the work, the buyer claimed it wasn’t done right and called the county. I had to pay my electrician to be there while the inspector came and determined it was proper and well done. All this was during Covid lockdowns, and the occupants of the home were immunodeficient - they requested visits be limited to 3 people. During the final walk-through, the buyers brought several people with them, which was a violation of the rules. The occupants called me VERY upset and crying… and by this point I actually hoped they’d cancel the sale. Throughout all of it, the buyer’s agent sent me videos of Joel Osteen. Now, I’m a practicing Jew and asked her politely to stop - when she learned I was Jewish she said, ‘no wonder you’re such a control freak.’ After closing, the buyers smeared me all over the internet, even created a website full of fabrications and awful, degrading comments. I have 5-star ratings on every real estate site, and couldn’t risk it being marred because these people were crazy. I gathered all of what they posted and sent it to my provider firm here in FL who reviewed it and sent a firm demand letter - cease and desist or I’d sue them for slander. Within two weeks it was all gone. I have had (legal plan) for years and have used it a lot, but this was probably the one that saved me the most. Thanks!”

“One of my members here in Ohio was terminated from her nursing job during Covid. She is Asian and the residents at the nursing home thought they could get Covid from her, due to her ethnicity. Because she was terminated, she couldn’t collect unemployment. The provider law firm wrote a letter to her former employer outlining why their action was wrongful termination and discrimination, and they wrote her a check to cover unemployment moving forward plus all the back payments due her. That money was life-changing for her at the time, and she no longer has that negative mark on her record.”

“I recently called our provider law firm because I was upset about a company that overcharged me for something I purchased online, and charged me BEFORE the 14-day trial ended. I wanted to cancel A.S.A.P.. I was able to get my money back before the lawyer I chatted with called, however, we had a fabulous conversation about the law as it pertains to those situations. She and her family have had experiences like that, too. She told me she LOVES what she does - she became an attorney so she can help people have access to their legal rights. She’s been an attorney for over 20 years, and left private practice to work with our (legal plan) provider law firm so she can help even more people. Now, that’s what I’m talking about!”

"As a good dad, when my 16-yr old daughter approached me with a request of 'Daddy, can I buy a snake?', I immediately, said 'Of course honey.' No, not really. I tried my best to politic my way out of it by saying, 'I think those exotic animals are illegal, honey.' I thought I won this battle. Matter of fact, I remember high-fiving my wife at the time. However, we have had this (legal plan) membership for years, and my daughter promptly said 'I'll just call the Provider Law Firm.' She did. They asked her what type of snake and what area we lived in. We certainly do worry less now. (Except when we can't find the snake.)"

“I want to start by saying thank you. Your product offers a service which helps level the playing field and, in my opinion, fosters the ability of small business owners to stand up for what is right. I’ve been in the high-end fly fishing lodge business for 12 years, 8 in developing the Far East as a world class destination for the traveling angler. I’ve seen many fly-by-night operations and I’ve seen many good small operations be put under by the heavy hand of larger and stronger competitors. Without (legal plan), I would not have been able to compete against well-funded and more experienced lodges and agents. I wouldn’t have known my rights or been able to afford to properly defend myself against the strong arm tactics used to try and scare me out of starting my business. [An attorney] from [my provider law firm] was exceptionally sympathetic, knowledgeable and expeditious in handling one very stressful situation as I took on the goliath of my industry, and [he] was a pillar of strength to lean on. (Legal plan) has changed my life. While I hope I won’t need to use (legal plan) for another crisis anytime soon, I have confidence if I do, you’ll be at my side every step of the way.”

“I was viciously cyber-attacked on YouTube and needed both a copyright attorney AND a professional defamation attorney. Instead of paying $1,900 retainer, not including work they’d do on my behalf (rate quoted to me by a local lawyer I'd reached out to), I signed up as a (legal plan) member and was on the phone with an attorney within a couple hours late on a Friday afternoon. I had guidance, advice and help from both types of lawyers who represented me for my $49/month rate (saving me over $1800 the first time I used the plan as far as I'm concerned). “My husband and I own a semi truck that we leased to a company. The company forced us to take out workers compensation which cost $1,000.00 for a year. "I own a small auto repair business. A year ago, I was accused of a multitude of things by a customer and, while all of it was completely false, that customer sued me. So that I didn't lose by default, I had to defend myself in court. Thankfully, I have been a member of (legal plan) for years. I just spent three days in court with a full jury while my provider lawyer took the plaintiff apart and exposed all the lies of the accusations one by one. The jury unanimously found in MY favor on each and every count. I am so grateful. If I had lost, I would have had to pay over $37,000 plus court costs and legal fees. As a member of (legal plan), my trial defense hours were covered so they didn't cost me anything... and I won. I can't even describe the sense of relief I have."

“I work in the social media world helping brands promote their products using social media influencers. I was working with a company on a large project and has a signed contract stating that at the end of the term, my payment would be over $10,000. After the project concluded, the company decided to stop responding to emails and phone calls regarding payment. I had to pay influencers for their work as well as other expenses and it was getting stressful. I called my provider law firm and explained to an attorney what was going on. "I had a $52 Million contract pending with GNC for a product I invented for women's health. My investor backed out of our agreement and wanted to discuss changing the percentage of the corporation. He wanted 66%, which I of course didn't agree to, so he withdrew our $2.5 Million ad campaign. So, I terminated our partnership. He turned around and sued me for $175,000.00. I had (legal plan)'s small business plan and lived in Texas at the time, so I called my Texas Provider Law Firm and my attorney wrote their attorney a nasty three page letter. Their attorney responded, and they dropped the lawsuit. Months later, the same ex-partner reported to the IRS that he gave me $80,000.00 in person, which was a lie, and which triggered a $23,522.00 bill with the IRS for me. By that time, I’d moved to Louisiana, so I called my Louisiana Provider Law Firm and my attorneys said 'don't worry, we've got this'. Six months later, my law firm sent me a closing notice from the IRS showing I owed $0 based on that ex-partner's false report. I've been a member from that day forward... nearly 20 years!"

“I think (legal plan) is a no-brainer for small business owners. I don’t use it often, but in the past two months I used it to wipe out $3,000 of erroneously attributed fees from a draconian HOA, and to enforce a contract on a property we were buying. $80k on the line and at risk of evaporating when someone wanted to back out of an executed contract. My membership was paid for for a lifetime in just these two instances.”

I asked how I could thank her for all she'd done and she said, 'You just did it.' Saying thank you just isn't enough.

"I was really impressed with the quality of attention and service I received through (legal plan). I had a specific concern regarding a business contract and after my designated lawyer followed up with me and realized the contract was bound by New York laws, they promptly put me in touch with a representative in NY. The NY attorney reached out to me and we were able to discuss and resolve my concerns with the matter. “I’ve worked in the real estate industry as an escrow officer and manager for 31 years. After the 2008 real estate meltdown, the company I worked for stayed afloat handling foreclosures. By 2011 they’d dried up and I was named personally in 3 lawsuits where the borrower was suing the lender to get a loan modification. [Typically the company I worked for as a W-2 would cover me through the company’s attorney, however since the company was closing, they weren’t going to defend me.] I had to defend myself, and after losing my job of 10 years, I was having to file bankruptcy. It was the most stressful situation I’ve ever dealt with. In 2013, one of my Realtors showed me (legal plan) and I signed up immediately. I knew that I’d now have lawsuit protection and would never allow myself to be that vulnerable again. I’ve since used (legal plan) monthly and recovered or saved thousands of dollars per year. I enrolled for the (legal plan) business plan for protection but mainly to help with collections of the $8k in receivables I had no time to chase down. In my first two months as a member, my provider firm sent 6 letters and collected $4,500.00 for me. I got all the money - since those letters were included with my subscription. “We originally subscribed to (legal plan) with the intention of getting our Wills done. We never realized how having lawyers to refer to as often as we wanted would help us out. We work on a contract basis in the film industry, and we sign a new contract on every show — a contract that is thoroughly reviewed by lawyers who represent the big companies, not us. Now, having lawyers of our own, and a second set of eyes on every contract, we have so much more confidence in negotiating. Recently, we were successful in collecting an unpaid bill from a production company totaling into the thousands. It was a situation we never would have pursued, let alone, won without the legal clout and support of our lawyers; in fact, in the past, we likely would have let that one go since we had no real ability to fight back. We realize now how often we operated from a position of weakness before we had the strength and knowledge of a whole law firm behind us. Thank you, (legal plan).”

We drove by his old address and found no relief. We purchased a Business Plan with (legal plan) and sent our documentation to our Provider Law firm. "I’ve had (legal plan) since 1998 and I'll never let it go. This service has benefitted me well over $100,000.00 in so many ways, including recouping money I was owed, saving me money on transactions, helping me avoid spending extra money I didn’t need to through contract reviews, representing me through a frivolous lawsuit to its dismissal and by always guiding me through unlimited consultations so I could make the best personal, professional and financial decisions in life and business. I've done the math, and owning this plan is economically advantageous: I pay less than $539.00 per year to cover myself, my family and my business with (legal plan); on average, having (legal plan) has kept an average of $4,166.00 (minimum) per year in my possession ... and these figures don't even factor in the savings on lawyers' fees. To me, it's a no-brainer."

"I know ZERO about business law and have no leverage if a company wants to screw me. I used my (legal plan) service three times today (totaling 13 times this year). Today, they helped me with legally filing an LLC in a state I don't live in or directly operate in (for tax purposes) which saved me $500 (rather than have legalzoom, incfile, or another 3rd party company do it); they're helping me get a refund from a company that charged me $30 for a free trial, and they're helping me get a $160 late fee back that was unjustly charged by my property management company. This year, they've saved me over $10,000 from companies screwing me and they're saving me money I don't need to spend. I've gotten out of speeding tickets, settled tenant disputes, settled improperly billed collections, and now they've helped me form a business, will legally protect my company in court if I'm hit with a civil suit AND I get free consultations about anything whenever I need one. I don't normally make public posts about companies or services, but holy moly they've absolutely revolutionized the way I operate day to day!! Knowing that I have access to my rights 24/7/365 is a great, great feeling. I've paid zero dollars in attorney fees and I even more through their member perks program than spend on the monthly membership."

“My husband is a DJ and he was scheduled to do a kid's Halloween party for a country club in our area on their golf course. This is Texas, so even in October we have pretty great weather. No exception for this night, not a cloud in the sky! About 15 minutes before my husband's gig ended, he felt a strange mist and lo and behold, the golf course sprinklers came on and ALL his equipment got soaked. Speakers, lights, computer, new iPhone - everything! The next morning he realized that, thank goodness, only his computer was ruined. He called the country club and asked them to replace his computer. They said, ‘Well, we need to talk to our attorneys about this’. They dragged their feet for two weeks, so I said to my husband, ‘WE have attorneys, too, time to call (legal plan)!’ We called our Provider law firm, they wrote a letter and we got a check in the mail for the ruined computer.”

"As an insurance agent, I've found the (legal plan) service to be an excellent compliment to my practice. At least 70% of my new clients don't have a Will. (Legal plan) provides all members with a Will, DPA and Medical Directive at no additional charge - the savings for that alone pays for their membership for at least 2 years."

"We have an employee who had $1,500 taken from his checking account. The employee thought it was the IRS so he called them first, but they said it wasn't them - as long as he is making payments he is good. Next, he headed to the bank. The bank claimed they had no idea and 'sorry we can't help you'. Our employee was so stressed and confused with his back against the wall. Then, he called his Provider Law Firm with (legal plan). This was on a Friday. His attorney said 'let us do a few things and we will be back in touch'. Today, Wednesday, he received a call from (legal plan) to let him know that his bank reversed the transaction and returned all his money! Go (LEGAL PLAN). (Legal plan) is a financial common sense plan to have, and that's why we have it for our family, our business and are so happy to offer this to all our employees - when they’re stressed, they’re not working at their best."

“(Legal plan) was there for me through the roughest patch of my new day spa business opening. I had access to attorneys and information on laws that I wouldn't have otherwise had. Although I did not like looking at the flaws in my business, these lawyers gently forced me to look at certain things that can and will protect me and my business in the future. They provided legal documents for me, reviewed and edited them for me, and helped me create working contracts for my private contractor staff members; and, while I did have to let one employee go who was unwilling to follow contract rules, it ended up being for the best, since having that staff member gone allowed me to open a couples room which resulted in more income per week than the room had produced the four months she was there. Everything happens for a reason and I'm so grateful I have (legal plan), its attorneys and the small business consultants to answer questions. Not to mention, the perks and discounts being a member provides.”

"After having it for a few months now, I couldn't imagine working in real estate without (legal plan). Sure, I have access to corporate council, but at an extremely HIGH cost per quarter hour (tick-tock, tick-tock). Knowing I can call a lawyer for advice at any time, have contracts reviewed at no extra cost, and have (legal plan) handle my personal issues as they come up (like traffic tickets or, my favorite, when my law firm sends a letter to someone that owes me money) so I can stay focused on closing business gives me peace AND helps me provide better service to my clients. Thank you, (legal plan)!"

“For 11 years I’ve owned a large party bus company. A few weeks ago, the rear brakes on one of my buses started acting up, so I took it to a commercial shop I’d taken many vehicles to before. After looking at it, one of the mechanics gave me a quote for about $750. I agreed and gave him permission to perform repairs. Three days later, I got a call that my bus was ready. When I arrived, my bill was over $1,550!! I told the clerk I’d agreed to around $750, clerk said the mechanic discovered more worn out parts once he was in there, and the extra $800 was for additional parts and labor. I called my provider firm right there and an attorney called me back within minutes. After I caught my attorney up on what was going on, he told me to hand my phone to the clerk. Two minutes later, the clerk gave me back my phone and told me the clerk will print me a new bill for the original quote (around $750), and explained that for them to perform additional work, labor, parts... the law states the shop would have had to call me first for approval. Without (legal plan), I would’ve paid the additional $800. Thank you EVERY time, (legal plan)!”

"Ya'll wanna know why we have (legal plan)? Good Lord! For under $45 a month (covering my family and my home business), we would not live without it. They've saved us tens of thousands of dollars over the last 7 years -- not just from legal fees, but from outright recovery of things, like when the phone company tried to screw me over. We consider it an ESSENTIAL service -- like paying the utility bill and insurance. Just having this service and a lawyer on call to answer questions (even in an emergency) gives me the peace of mind I want for my family."

"I have been working with a member on this matter for several months. The member sold her business to the opposing party. The opposing party defaulted on payment claiming the value of the business was less than what was agreed upon. I wrote a letter on the member’s behalf which was ignored. Under my guidance, member filed a claim with Small Claims Court. The opposing party counter-sued. The opposing party lied about the facts at the settlement conference, but the judge warned that the counter-claim seemed to have little merit. At the trial, the counter-claim against the member was dismissed, and, as a result of my guidance and assistance with preparation, our member was successful in her claim and was awarded $25,000.00 (Canadian) in damages. The member is a senior citizen who was quite frankly being bullied by the opposing party and the opposing party’s father for the past two years. Our member is very happy with the result."

"(Legal plan) is a great service. This is an incredible tool for a new business owner. We just launched a new company, and instead of paying $10k in attorney fees, we subscribed to (legal plan), found documents online, and reviewed them with the team. Their lawyers went through each one of our contracts line by line to make sure they were sound. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat!"

"I've been a (legal plan) member for a few years. The service is awesome and it has helped me and my small business out in many ways. I love it! Most recently my law firm helped me on a case where a client refused to pay an invoice for helping them out after the recent hurricane in Texas. My provider lawyers sent out two letters, and after the 2nd certified letter we received our $5,600.00 check. Before I found (legal plan), it would have cost me this amount just to collect. This is one of many, many ways I've used (legal plan). I own a small repossession company and I really want to help people know about this service because everyone needs it."

"Allstate insurance has been suing me for $18,000 since the end of 2016 for something they claimed I was negligent with regarding service I provided in 2008 in my plumbing business. Yes, 12+ years ago. My provider firm has represented me through all this, and just sent me this email...
'Good Morning Ron,
I have great news. This morning the Plaintiff filed the attached Notice of Voluntary Dismissal with Prejudice. This means the case is over, and they can never sue you again for this issue.
We will now close our file, and you will receive your remaining retainer money in about six to eight weeks.
It was a pleasure working with you, and I wish you all the best.'
If I’d had to hire and pay lawyers to defend me these last few years, it would have cost me well over $10K. But, because of my accumulated trial defense hours with (legal plan), my cost was $8 - EIGHT DOLLARS - which was the cost to send the original response letter via certified mail in 2017. Thank you, (legal plan), for your excellent services!!"

“I wanted to share my experience with (legal plan) as a Landlord. I recommend that all owners of rentals protect themselves and their assets through (legal plan) for this reason. The tenants I had in a property caused a serious sewage backup under the house they were renting. It involved hazmat and DEQ. None of their belongings were damaged, but they threw their furniture out anyway and then went to a lawyer to sue me for damages of $24,000.00. I referred this immediately to the team at (legal plan). An attorney who was experienced in real estate rental matters reviewed the lease agreement and wrote one letter to that tenant’s lawyer. The tenants decided not to pursue their case. This was at no cost to me. Yes, I carry all the insurances for rentals, but none of it would have covered this. I am grateful for the help (legal plan) gave me in this instance and for the peace of mind that it gives me every other day.”

"I have a small business client which is a large electrical company in Tennessee. They reported to me that after becoming a subscriber of (legal plan)'s Small Business Plan and using the collections services for just the first year, they recouped literally tens of thousands of dollars. They love (legal plan), and I love what I do."

“I was feeling very stressed about a situation with one of my previous employees. I had made an error regarding her end-of-the-year income document but had discussed the situation with my accountant and had rectified everything with the CRA. Nevertheless, the previous employee was challenging me and questioning me. I wanted to be respectful while also protecting myself legally. I am so impressed with the (legal plan) service. My membership processed quickly and I’ve already spoken with a lawyer; he was great. It sets my mind at ease, as he told me that there was nothing for me to worry about.”

"I went to renew my drivers license in California and was told I couldn't because there was a hold on my account in North Carolina. Called the NC DMV and was told my license was suspended for outstanding fines from a ticket I got 3 years prior in Kannapolis, NC — a city I'd never been to. Someone used my drivers license, pled guilty in court as me, then never paid the court fines, which led to a warrant for me! The DMV said I'd need to pay the fines to drive legally or hire a lawyer in NC if I wanted to fight it! I hung up feeling pretty relieved that I do actually have a law firm in North Carolina thanks to (legal plan), but first I tapped my (identity theft plan) app and got connected with an awesome licensed investigator. He did some research, made some calls, got me connected with the right people and within 1 week I was driving again legally and it all cost me $0. My investigator took another week to clear up the warrant in NC. I love my (legal plan & identity theft plan)! Without them, not sure what I’d have done in this situation -- fly across the country and hire a lawyer? It would have been cheaper to pay the fines. The police officer I spoke with in NC told me he hoped my investigator didn't cost me too much because he was awesome!! This all happened because someone stole my drivers license info; think about all the places we write that number down .... when we get jobs, apartments, at hotels, anywhere?! People need these services!"

"My ID was stolen via the data breach at LinkedIn. I'd recently gotten an American Airlines credit card, but shortly after that, someone opened a high level AA card in my name and the bank approved it automatically. They rang up over $19,000.00 in credit very quickly. IDShield sent me a warning, so I contacted them, ended up completing the Limited POA form and then did a 3-way call with my IDShield investigator and the bank and the investigator got everything taken care of with them on the phone. We discovered that the individual used a Bradenton, FL address which should have raised a red flag at the time. Since I was a proven victim of ID theft, I got 7 years of increased due diligence with all the credit bureaus before it affects my credit. Avoiding the headaches this could have caused me makes our plan invaluable."

“I received a credit alert today that someone had requested a copy of my credit report. Turns out someone had applied for a credit card from Chase bank in my name. I called (identity theft plan) for help. The first person I spoke with was very professional and took all the necessary information before passing me on to Jennifer. In less than 5 minutes, she had a rep from Chase bank on the phone and we had the entire thing shut down. To say that I'm thrilled with the service would be a huge understatement. It simply could not have worked more perfectly.”

“I’ve had my identity stolen twice and I'm grateful I had (identity theft plan and legal plan) to restore my identity. The first time was from a paper employment application and 17 credit card accounts were opened in my name. The second time was from an auto theft / vandalism and the person that stole my identity either committed crimes or sold it to people who committed crimes — I had 82 misdemeanors and 47 felonies in MY name in 4 states I’d never been to; AZ, CA, NM, & WA. Both times my identity was restored within about 2-3 weeks’ time. It would be hard to calculate how much it would have cost me without (legal plan and identity theft plan) on both cases regarding attorney’s fees, lost wages, loss of career (I hold a CDL), court fees, fines, traveling to appear in court, etc. Don’t get caught without these services; they're priceless, in my opinion.”

"Just had my second example of great, and I mean great, service from (identity theft plan) this year. The fraud agent I spoke to wasn't super experienced - she had been working for the company since June - BUT she was super helpful and had the posture of a lion. We worked together, resolved most of the issue and she is going to follow up with me on Friday just to make sure the matter has been put to bed. (Oh and by the way, this matter also involved my attorney and she too was roaring like a lion and will probably now write a letter on my behalf to a corporate entity and make sure that the ways they have broken the law is pointed out to them and ensure it doesn't happen again.). When you have giants like (legal plan and identity theft plan) life can be lived with so much more confidence and peace. Thank you for your service!!"

"I was hit hard today by an identity thief. Stole 100% of my checking balance. Off my debit card; 3 huge transactions wiped me out. Thank GOD I have (legal plan and identity theft plan)! If the bank doesn't return the money ASAP, while protecting against future fraud, the licensed investigators will assign their team to 'MAKE them do what they’re supposed to do and my law firm will back them with letters and calls to their legal department. Can you believe a bank has up to 90 days to replace money? A hard day, a tough reality. Bank fraud is really big right now.... even though it’s less than 20% of identity theft cases. (Identity theft plan) is making sure nothing else is going on... ie: thieves creating accounts with my info, establishing new credit, working jobs using my SSN, committing crimes in my name, etc.; ANYTHING else that is true identity theft — stuff that might not show up for years. *deep breath*!"

“My Tax Return was hacked! While traveling out of state for business my CPA called saying they could not eFile my taxes because someone already had! My first call was to (identity theft plan) and within minutes, I had a licensed investigator on the line who offered to check my credit report for any red flags, which I approved. He then offered to file the report that would lock down my credit, which I also approved. He then offered to check my wife's credit report and lock down her credit as well, which I approved. He then explained the process I’d have to go through with the IRS now and in the future. What would have been a nightmare to deal with on my own while on a business trip was a 15-minute call with an expert so I could go on with my life. It’s such peace of mind knowing I have experts who are watching our back!”

“Maybe this is old news but it wasn’t really a feature of my plan I’d really used before. Sex offenders have been in my local news a lot lately, and I’d never really paid much attention to the sex offender notification feature of my (identity theft plan) membership before the recent upgrade, so I’m not sure how it looked before. HOWEVER, I just checked it out. OMG! Within 1 mile of my house there are 7 registered sex offenders! I have their picture, name, address and type of offense. Most are offenses with children, which is super important for me to know as a grandparent. I have no idea if there are other places to find such info so easily, but with (identity theft plan) it’s now in the palm of my hand. You can enter any address in the country . Check it out for yourself.”

“This past week a member called me frazzled after she tried to get help with AT&T's fraud department for SIX iPhone X’s that were put on her account. She'd received a bill for $1,920, couldn’t figure out why, couldn't pay that amount, and, after an AT&T fraud department agent determined the extra phones were added to their account online with her disabled husband’s authorization - which was not true - both hers and her husband's phones were turned off. The member was so upset and wanted to cancel her AT&T account but was told that to do so would cost her over $8,000, which she definitely didn't have. She called me to ask if her (legal plan and identity theft plan) could help? I told her to call (identity theft plan) first, then contact her Provider Law Firm. It took a licensed investigator speaking to AT&T’s fraud department for 1 ½ hours to fix it all — during that time, not only were ALL fraudulent charges removed, but she and her husband’s phones were immediately turned back on and operational again. This member was EXTREMELY grateful to have her coverage in place when she needed it.”

“I’d applied for a part-time job and the manager asked me to come in for an interview the next day. When I arrived, I was greeted by three police officers asking about my ID, which was responsible for vehicle theft and check fraud. I was shocked, confused, handcuffed and taken to the police station. When the detective came in to question me, I asked for my attorney. An officer brought in a phone and I called the (legal plan) emergency line and explained the situation to an attorney who then got an investigator on the line from (identity theft plan) too. Over the course of the next hour or so, I learned my identity was stolen - they could even pinpoint the last place it was used, which cleared me, and yes, my ID was doing bad things. Finally, the detective came in and expressed the department’s apologies and I was let go. Looking back, I remained quite calm during that really emotional ordeal that day because I knew I had professionals on my side. The lawyers and investigators worked with me the next few weeks to remove everything from my identity and record that wasn’t me, which was comforting, too. When I think about that day, I shudder to think what would have happened if I didn’t have my (legal plan and identity theft plan) memberships. I’ll never be without them.”
